It actually does hit you in the face, and pretty hard at that. It’s a really ridiculous part of the system in my opinion… the charging handle is attached to the bolt and the two plastic prongs that are supposed to hold it in place are not strong enough to do that most of the time, so on about 40-50% of the rounds rides you get smacked in the face with the charging handle. At least I did. I guess you take a different cheek weld, but that surprised me a bit and made the 40 round mag dump far more interesting!
@@LegacyArmsIntl You think that would be a thing they would strengthen. Make it more like an AR charging handle that doesn't move. Cause that seems like a design flaw.
Personal defense weapon. We have the right to self preservation and the right to keep and bear arms that shall not be infringed. The forefathers would have heart attacks if they saw the condition of this country.
It may for the sake of cloning something similar to what the military would use. Red dot sight makes a lot of sense with modern firearms. The PEQ-15 is has a visible and IR laser and an IR illuminator; some people may find a use for it, some may not. The vertical fore grip is pretty much necessary due to the shape of the weapon; imagine holding it without a forward grip.
Rails are great for attachment of accessories and mission specific gear, but it can very quickly turn a lightweight gun into a heavy one. Vertical fore grips are not something I usually enjoy, but on short barreled guns it helps prevent your hand from creeping forward towards the muzzle and also helps control the firearm. My opinion on rails is I would rather have them and not use them than not have them.
I promise I didn’t! I always keep some ammo in reserve in case I have to redo the video or something. That was the last mag and I wanted to make sure we were good before I shot it. I definitely enjoyed it but the cameras were no longer running!
