I carry my HK45C everyday... Lite LEM trigger, and trijicon HD night sights, and talon grips👍... I have never had a failure of any kind , and I have taken it to quite a few classes.. Some of them very high round count ones without cleaning or adding lube of any type.. It has always been 100% reliable... The HK45C can do everything the full size does, just in a smaller package... I have fired MANY THOUSANDS of rounds of 185+p jhp and that round is really where this pistol shines... It’s very comforting to know that this pistol is capable of way more than anything I could ever put it through... It’s also nice to know that if the SHTF , no matter where I am or what I’m doing, I have the most capable tool there is to get me and my family to safety and keep us well protected along the way... I also never feel under-gunned or having to question if my pistol can preform in any climate or environment... it’s a great feeling knowing that I can fully rely on it to preform when needed.. I’m happy to see other people can see this pistol for what it is and what it can do 👍.... This will serve you well no matter how you decide to employ it.... great video and information!!! AWESOME MAN THANKS SO MUCH And I completely AGREE on EVERYTHING. Been my Carry for awhile now! 230 Plus P and can handle even that well compared even to some 1911's which will drop my double tap second shot too low into stomach instead of upper thoracic in my testing thus far. Looking like maybe a p30 will be next but likely V3 Decock prefer light LEM I think (well without spending money on ghost upgrades to trigger from what I read not sure how much different to first DA pull they do?) I traded my HK VP9SK for a new HK45c today and I am a happy camper. I love these HK’s that are battle tested and built like tanks. I also own a USP 45 compact. I plan on switching between these two for my daily carry.
@@DanTheWolfman I pull 30 rounds through the 45c today and it shoots great. Have to adjust my grip compared to the VP9, but I am glad to be shooting 45ACP again. Don’t miss my 9mm at all. The USP 45 compact is not much heavier then the VP9SK was and feels way more solid and well built and it’s a classic with military history behind it.
@ronald Bak - Curious as well on your thoughts comparing the 45c and the USP 45 Compact. I’ve been back and forth between the two and unfortunately there are no stores near me that have either one let alone both to compare.

I've just ordered one of these, but with the DA/SA trigger. The price has really come down on the HK45 and 45c. Years ago, people were paying $800-900, but I was able to get mine for $640 now. I've got the LEM on my P2000sk, and it's definitely one of the better DAO triggers out there - very light - but I didn't want the long trigger pull on my HK45c. It's an HK, and I'm sure that it will be great.

Love the hk45c review! I’m sold, think this will be my next purchase! Love the LEM trigger, I have it on my p30. It def gives you the best of both worlds.

I agree that 45 is better from a ballistic standpoint. You just always get more capacity and faster follow up shots with 9mm. I love all the calibers.....except 40 lol.
I have owned a few HK firearms and ended up trading them over the years. I feel like a damn fool😂. Just got a Mark 23 last week and now I have a VP9, picking up a P30 next week and just put a 45C on layaway.
Sold my Beretta M96A1 (which I loved) for this handgun. I really wanted something that gives me the hybrid design of a 1911 and a de-cocker. I typically carry full size, but this is a nice change and it shoots great. It’s definitely my main carry now. PS: I typically carry .45 AUTO guns like my SIG 220 legion
I assume OWB 3ish? it is a bit thick, and a bit too heavy loaded 10+1 so you just rock 8+1? Is it more uncomfortable to carry then thinner Sig or about same?
@factsoftheconfederacy7151 what holster you using leather or Kydex? My belly has gotten too big for that. I would like a 96a1 or 90-two how many rounds you out through it? 96s didn't hold up past 10k so I wonder how those others did durability wise
I’m grabbing the HK45C for substantially less (around $625) and adding the “T” myself. Threaded barrel will be coming from a custom barrel maker along then going to Gray Guns for the “Reduced Reset Carry Perfection” package. Once Gray Guns touches it, it will blow everything else away.
