Erin Walsh I agree Erin, he is a hero for even trying. To me, the first step is to be honest with yourself and admit that you have a problem, the 2nd step is that you get the help that you need to beat that problem and the last step is the one I call "The Forever" step and that's sticking with what you've learned. When we go through trials and tribulations and we come out "O.k" on the other end,Those are the lessons we are suppose to learn, those are our lessons that we should be embracing, therefore we stick to those lessons and we're better for it. Like Nikki said though, some do fall off the wagon, and that's not a failure, failure is when you don't try to get back on the wagon at all and you just let go and that's not learning a lesson, that's called giving up...never give up!!!

I've researched Nikki and he has amazing life stories to share .I've got the book and the cd,and the sixx am cd too with the songs he uses in the "heroin diaries".I've thoroughly enjoyed the book and his life stories as I've been a Crue fan ever since I was a teen.If you say he didn't write it that's your opinion.So who DID write it? If I'm wrong..I'll gladly stand corrected.My Marine son bought me the book after he got his book,and took it with him as he deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan.It was a great read and got my son's mind off all the horrible things going on around them when they had a moment of downtime.So whoever wrote it...I'm thankful.It could really change some lives.

Janet J That book did NOT come from actual diary entries and "scraps of paper" like he said. If they existed, why were there no pictures of them in the dirt? Because they showed stupid things like scraps of songwriting for shout, and even the court order to clean up the "motley house" back yard. So why would they show those, but not tortured memoirs of Nikki in the throes of his addiction? Don't be so naive. He (well, ghost-writing) wrote that book after the dirt. It was written to be like diary entries because he always wanted to have his own basketball diaries. He always wanted to be as artistic as Jim Carrol. But he couldn't, because he wasn't intelligent enough to write diaries during his drug addled haze. Not many people would. Only exceptional people like Carrol would think to do that. Also, most of the stories in the heroin diaries are not really true. They have nuggets of truth, but are mostly exaggerated to the max.

@Nikki Sixx I am alive, while trying to obtain justice/financial restitution for my infant daughter, in addition to, myself, and perhaps others ! I hope all is well with EVERYONE in Motley Crue !! Last, please inform Tommy Lee that he was right about Connecticut.
