I'm pretty sure that most of them haven't even done a model like this for themselves. I know comments like that are hard to read, and they sometimes they messes with your head.. You are doing a great job with this kit Roma and the explanation is spot on. l use 5 mm glass as a base to make the ribs to ensure a flat surface. The reason for the A and B frames is usually the A side is towards the bow and B is towards the stern, so you always put the frames the right way round. This is going to be an excellent build. Very well done!!!

Roman, if it was that easy everyone would do it. Stay the course, enjoy yourself, and most of all have fun!!!! I give you even more credit for doing it as I feel at this point in my modeling career it is above my comfort zone. That said, perhaps one day I will attempt this and use your video series as a guide. Great work!!!!

Ich habe bisher noch kein Schiff gebaut und bin gerade mit der Polaris von Ocre angefangen, erscheint mir einfacher wie das hier🙂 Ich freue mich auf das nächste Video.

Great video... You are very brave if this is your first ship. When you said you only use white glue thtas the proper way. You are on the right track. Keep up the good work. It took me 8 months to plank the HMS Victory and that was everyday. 3300 nails!!! Thats per drilling each plank and steaming. So a lot of people don't understand the time it takes to build a wooden ship model.

Roma, I have several comments here: 1. Leaving 1/2 of the hull & (deck?) open for viewing the craftsmanship is awesome! How creative. 2. I totally get the building on the plans for alinement. If I may bold and suggest a sheet of Wax Paper over the plans. It gives excellent protection to the original paper and is especially useful with your typical aliphatic resin. Not so much with CA. This is a standard is balsa R/C plane building. The time will come when the plans will be required again, well with airplanes. 3. YES, you are so correct with your option about the use of CA. My biggest gripe is the sandabilty & your health. Keep it and show us your wonderful work.

Nice to see such passion for building models. Very informative film. Wooden ships is new thing for me. Usually I build plastic kits. At the moment busy with cv-6 Enterprise.

Your doing a great job Roma, Im envious, Im thinking of doing a scratch build next, but after seeing you kit, im thinking I may do one similar as a stepping stone to the scratch build. Your explanations are spot on, don't rush enjoy the build, don't worry what others say , im enjoying the build.
