That is the aluminum floor panels supplied with the kit now. It is 1/8. (0.125) thick. Initially I didn’t think that would be enough but now I like it better than the old corrugated floor panels
yes it does. There is another Jensen radio that isn't motorized that I will put in on the next build (may) and that one will be a Monsoon car so I'll update the video then. But this video is really to help my customers decide what options they want on a build. Not really an instructional video.
Im not 100 % sure I understand your question. The kit fits on 1998-2010 VW New Beetles. There were only 250 4Motion Beetles made in that time frame so the chances of finding one are very small. The practical answer is no, it won't fit on a 4WD chassis. However, the floor pan from a Beetle is close enough to an Audi TT of the same era that you can cut the floor pan out and weld it into a beetle to allow you to mount the 4motion (called Quattro at Audi but really its the 4 motion setup) driveline and build an AWD beetle. Then you could put the Smyth beetle kit on it.
