There is nothing wrong with publicly holding hands with one's father. It is worth noting that Malia Obama, aged 26, still engages in this gesture with her father. Holding hands with a close family member is entirely appropriate. There is no reason for embarrassment. Children will only hold your hands for a limited time, and it is natural to cherish these moments. I still sometimes reach out to hold my children’s hands, and they are always willing to hold them.❤ I used to think it was weird, too, but as I age, I cherish these small moments with my children if they are still willing to hold my mind.
@@pajhawj196 Well sure, if one is in more of a mature age like Obama’s daughter then no it wouldn’t affect them as much, but I ask you to go ask any teenager out there. Some may say, no simply because they don’t want to be mean, but majority WILL say, it is embarrassing. My husband and I both still hold my kids’ hands simply because they’re still young (8-1 yrs old) but you bet cha, we will stop when they’re in their teen years. Then of course when they’re in their mature years I will want them to be holding my hands again because I still hold my mama’s hand 😉
