I just watched your two operations videos. I have a similar space available to me. A shelf switching layout sure gives you a lot of operational "play value". I really like your gated and derailed industries with multiple car spots. Your use of the Proto throttle sure enhances your ops too! Thanks for your inspiring work. How did you do your gates going into you engine area and the factories

Brass tube in the homasote then thinner brass rod dropped into the tubes to act as the hinges. I’ll have to post a how to video on that.
