Even a few years ago in my healing journey I would have been deeply confused and offended by the idea that I was to ask forgiveness of my abuser/tormentor. But as soon as I tried this a week ago - I was given the profound insight I had lacked. We really are all One and every wrong comes out of the illusion of separateness. In asking for forgiveness for holding on to the pain I saw so clearly for the first time what real peace is and how it's as easy as letting go, not demanding an apology. Also - I see SO CLEARLY now how I must ask life for forgiveness for how much I have allowed pain and anger to decide my course for me . I truly believed I have been In The Right for having been wronged.
