File federal charges for mail tampering and city charges for illegal trespassing!! Every HOA and Condo association should be banned across the country and all their assets should be immediately seized and promptly returned to the home owners!!
Yes, you can hate them but I have seen some homes so bad with junk in the driveways and the sides of houses that it takes down the rest of the home values. They are like lawyers you hate them till you need them.
This is precisely why I will never do so! These HOA people are crazy. Some are OK but for the most part I have yet to meet anyone living in an HOA situation who is thrilled. I owned a pest control business in MT before I retired and it was stunning at times to see neighbors coming over and trying to use the "HOA" to stop me from doing my job! For what it's worth I tried my damnedest to not use any chemicals but they were a good solution when other methods were not successful. That didn't stop people like this clown. There were accounts I had to drop because the "HOA" threatened legal action if I kept returning. They would very likely have lost but the last thing I had time for was a fight in court with an idiot!!

He touched your mail. That's not just a regular crime. That's a federal issue now. The feds do NOT take kindly to anyone touching THEIR stuff. combined with video of him trespassing and this isn't just an "issue" but evidence for being charged with 2 different crimes.

There are also too many stories, of HOAs harassing non HOA members repeatedly, despite court orders for them to stop. HOAs do not have the right to open your mailbox. Federal law (specifically, 18 U.S. Code § 1702) protects the privacy of mail, making it illegal for anyone other than the postal service or the mailbox owner to open mailboxes.
What gives this power hungry jerk who supposedly represents the HOA the right to remove, and examine mail from this private homeowners mailbox! With this video evidence I would like to see a good lawyer show him what a federal lawsuit feels like!
Finally went back to HOA's channel to see that the one short I watched was not a real event exactly and that it was just the tip of the iceberg. If you lived near enough to me I would want to buy you dinner and hear the whole twisted story of your inspiration and passion for videos. 😂
I know many people who live where there's an HOA. Not ONE doesn't regret buying there. Not one. It's become way out of hand, laughably so, as if these people who are on the board (or at least many of them) are living vicariously there through their twisted political aspirations that never came to fruition. Or, some are just miserable and have too much time on their hands. Either way, it's stupid and way out of line for the function it has. Stupid.

I’d share your vids around to increase your profile but I’m from NZ and none of my peeps have any idea what an HOA actually is. We have Body Corporates but they’re not a bunch of Nazis like HOAs. I only know about HOAs because I watched the John Oliver show about them and I was horrified (as I always am when I watch his show). What a cheek you have to measure your own mailbox, finger your own mail, talk into your own doorbell camera and post it on your own channel. LOL. 😂
