My comment is a year since this was posted. I did a side gig last month paid by the hour cleaning out a similar house. Nothing was saved. The contractor kept saying, "Doesn't matter what it is! Just fiil the bag and throw it out the door! Hurry up! I'm paying for quantity not quality!!" I never worked for that contractor again. Thank you for appreciating treasure and not adding it to a landfill.

😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻 Sometimes I cringe at what you throw out. Instead of donate so somebody can use it. Maybe have a tote or garbage can with you. To make it as quick as trashing them. At 32 I had to start over. With 3 kids and the clothes on our back. And my sister had to do the same thing, in her early twenties with 2 children. After she had a house fire. We were extremely grateful for the donations, that we found. Goodwill was the least helpful. The Red Cross the most helpful, for my sister. The women shelter's thrift store was tops for me and 2nd for my sister.

Noticed him do that too...stuff I would have saved or donated that was brand new in the bag. Men don't buy that stuff, their wives do, so they have no clue that they are throwing out things that cost plenty. Tape, scissors, markers, that stuff adds up.

I know it's hard enough getting the trash to the dumpsters, but please consider recycling the paper and plastic while you dig for treasure. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, keep up the great work, guys!!!

The worm is to tell you when your plant needs water. The terracotta dries and you know it's time to water.

I'm amazed that there is no filth in this house. But please don't throw up away anything that is useful. When I was a kid we were so poor. I would have done just about anything to have what you are throwing away. I could have sold it and bought the family food with the money. I know that that is a lot of stuff to deal with and go through, but consider the children who are growing up with nothing. Please , please donate the good stuff that you are considering throwing away. I beg of you don't throw anything of value in the trash. We that struggled , and the ones that are struggling are cringing at what you are throwing away. God Bless You .
