I love that you guys show how trail crawling really is. You don't edit out the struggles to get over rough spots, and the falls and tumbles. Keep it up guys.
First thing that needs to be changed on the HoBao DC-1 are the tires. The tires are terrible. After the tire swap it performs a lot better. Lose the spare tire in the rear as well. Also needs softer springs.

Still something I won't be able to get, but after seeing the third of your Videos with it running, I can certainly recommend it! 👍👍 What really got me was when it broke a Rear Link - and KEPT GOING up the Trail to the end!! That said a lot. For us Older Farts, it's nice to finally see a DC-10 - that DOESN'T Crash!!! 😜😂😂😅😆 Carmine
Enjoyable vid! Nice scenery. It's good to see them tested and out on a group-crawl.. I've got a few crawlers, a TRX4, 2x Ascenders (the Bronco and K10), GOM and a few FTX models. I've just bought the DC1 kit for the missus, I'm keen to see the build. I might look at another set of tyres for it though from what I've watched on the videos so far. How you do find the shocks?
Love that you guys take all stock rigs for comparison runs. The HoBao needs that spare taken off, and a nice set of heavy beadlock wheels with better tires and it should show everyone up.
203 RC Hobbyists it did put but know when putting on heavy metal wheels the vehicle breaks in the next vulnerable spot, the hobao has really thin link ends and broke on the first tumble, grant it was a big tumble but it broke

Hahaha. Toss me a winch, a pair of sandladders, and load the bed up with spares for the other rigs in the convoy. Service truck is good! And it'd be hella fun seeing how far a RWD open-diff farm truck can get out there. Who knows, maybe with a winch and some ladders it can make it through the whole trail?
Just saw that Trx-4 Bronco rtr with the red detail instead of the sunrise on amazon. I plan on getting out and crawling with you fellas, just need to pick up a scale rig. I’m the guy in San Bruno..Just put 250 bucks into my wraith and it is being co-opted by my son. He’s only 7, but he loves it! Leaning toward the Axial, but the Traxass, and the Vaterra are making it a hard choice..Which would you recommend?
The hobao seems to be alway on the roof it looks to flip very easily compared to the others also the tires looks like there craps it’s always spinning and not going anywhere meanwhile all the others are passing him slowly 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Maybe it look great but doesn’t means it go the same
