One day i will buy a Hobao rc. Their appearance is cool with and without the cover. Another rc chanell said that Hobao rc, is good but underrated rc brand and needs more attention.

I'm new to the hobby and I've liked the Truggy style. I learned about Arrma and I learned about Traxxas Sledge and I bought one of those on sale. I had no idea this monocoque style existed in that class and this truck looks absolutely great and a great value compared to a sledge even though my sledge was 700 not 800.

It seems Hobao has really been flying under the radar. I never knew they existed until a couple of weeks ago, shame on me! I’m looking at getting a Hobao after watching/reading some favourable reviews online. It seems the Hobao products are really durable, functional and well made. Yeah they may not be as flashy as your Traxxas or Arrma competition but they seem well priced compared to the ever more expensive Traxxas/Arrma products.

I still have my nitro Hyper 7. Any way this might be my next looking at maxx v2 and outcasst 4s but leaning more and more to the MTX.

Would you happen to know if there's any sort of new version coming for the Plus 2? It seems to be running low on stock online, and for many manufacturers, that indicates a discontinuation coming soon. I've come to like the truck (based on your videos, actually) and I want to get it, but I don't want to invest in it if they're gonna discontinue it soon.

LOL! I am laughing because I have already tried that. The front lines up, but the back would sit up since the +2 has that riser in the bed. I am going to use my stock blue body to trim and see what I can do. You need to trim off the lower front bumper to make it work also.

The HOBAO rcs always caught my attention and according to my opinion they look good. The only thing that I an worried about is the fact that the pinion gear is exposed !!!! They should have some kind of a cover in order to avoid any stones being caught in there. Did you ever face such problems ?

@@robracesandrebuilds6499 I ended up getting a hold of the Hobao head office and they informed me that there are no distribution channels in Canada. The best option would be ordering from Hobao USA. Parts support looks weak, so I'll be checking different brands first.

@Corwyn Friesen good to know. It didnt even look like hobao USA shipped to canada. Ive found a few hobby shops in the US that do ship internationally and carry Habao

Does it bottom out? Some video said the older model didn't and they would bend dog bones

@@3SonsRC Cool I was watching one video showing bent Dog bones and was saying because it didn't bottom out does it didn't vote him out and it was a huge issue
