Hobao make some of the best RCs you can get.! Especially their 1/8 stuff, they're practically bulletproof (for me at least). If you haven't tried them you seriously don't know what you're missing.!! I have 6 & I love each of them.! I don't own this one but I have the Hyper 10SC which is basically just a longer wheelbase version of this.! I especially appreciate the fact they give us the option of buying their RCs as ARTR 80% Rolling chassis.!! Stay safe out there & the very best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️ 👍 👍 👍
_As soon as I hear "& all that kind of fun stuff" I just cant... I almost had to see myself out!_ _The only big downside with these smaller RC's is that they do not drive through grass very well! Even some of the 1:8 scale stuff struggles!_ *(On another note.. HoBao seems to be one of the very few quality manufacturers that still have reasonable pricing!)*
there's a fine line for having too much power for an RC to handle , and HoBao has it nailed with their RC'S , they still have plenty of torque and speed and power without wheeling and getting to top speed quick , and not getting out of control by having too much power for them to handle . HoBao's 8th scales run just as well balanced with their large can 2000 kv brushless motors , torquey powerful and fast enough without been to powerful and not controllable .
Looks like a real smooth driver, another winner from Hobao. I recently got a 1/8 VSE buggy kit and put HW 8BL150 electronics in it and that thing sounds almost like the TT 2.0, the aggressive whine really adds to the driving experience. Must be a Hobao drivetrain thing
she seems to scoot along pretty good. any idea how it is getting parts from hobao? That's one thing that keeps me on the fence about RC brands, is I know how often I break stuff and I need to know parts are going to be available.
Has a top brace now. It was never needed before but people bash harder than ever. The weakness with this platform was the top plate and upper front A arms but they were cheap so I always had extra and still do. The shock towers would also break sometimes but they were always super cheap. The shocks on the version 1 worked very well and were full metal but the 2.0 seems to have better shocks now as well. It’s an awesome RC and it’s louder than most. A lot of people would ask me if the Hyper TT was gas 😂 Also, super tough differential gears. It’s a legend!
Sometimes how I feel in my yard depends on how much I maintaince I do to make it a track but using different RCs setups fun too for me it’s eventually repairs to keep the same RC going but he also has a channel so shows others how that particular RC runs , now if my LHS has them in hour when I have leave anyway “ I pick one up . Would I much rather be at the track rubbing tires 🛞 in a Main ? Sure 👍
