Hobao Hyper7 - Electric roller setup

This time I'm working on a proper Hyper 7 electric conversion. A few issues came up and with some extra new parts all sorted.
This video is for 14 years old and older. These Rc vehicles are dangerous as there are fast moving parts and hot parts that can burn.

Thats exactly what I am looking to do convert a petrol over. Great vid Mal Like what you did... Definilty needs a new servo.... Awesome conversion Mall..

This was a hard one as it was not a good conversion. I'm now doing another one of these for him and in better condition. But I had to use some bad parts.

They are nice shocks but the fixtures in the end had to bolt them through to get all hold together.

Nice but hard to work on, I prefer my VSE over these conversions. Paul has me doing another one of these but in better condition, but still issues get the parts to work right.

Nice work Mal👍. I'm really keen to convert mine to electric but am not sure what is the best motor mount. I have the same slider motor as this car, but I thought that was for hobao 10sc, for smaller motor. I think I'll just give it a try. Thanks for sharing👍

I do not know with the motor mount, I have only worked with what has come on the car. I'm doing one at the moment for Paul and I used the motor mount kit from the 1st build I made it work. But it was the same as the one on the car that was plastic and metal.

@@BasBoyRC from the look of it, I'm quite sure I have the same motor mount. I'll give it a try as mine is not Hobao, its an old Hongnor SST Blazer, it sort of have the same design as Hobao. I'll give it a try anyway. Thanks for sharing this vid, much appreciated🙏🏼
