I've made a baby blanket as a gift out of the Baby Cotton Organic, and my friends said it was very durable in the wash (and they washed it a lot because, well, baby!). It was also very soft after many washes. The only minus I can say that it was tough on the hand to knit with this yarn for a longer period of time.
Wow I'm really truly impressed with that variegated sweater, even tho I don't buy acrylic blends anymore, it's good to know that affordable options exist and are wonderful subs!
Thank you so much for this review. I’ve been a subscriber of the hobbii yarns for a while now, but haven’t pulled the trigger on a purchase yet. As you said, there’s lots on their website. I have a number of products in my cart, and bc of this review, will be adding a couple of new ones. The craft of knitting is just so exciting!! So many new yarns to try 😁👍🇨🇦
NE, Another fabulous episode!! Loving the Hobbii yarn and could think of a project for almost all of them. This past summer I knit the streamline tank from two of wands and its a great pattern for that cotton blend!!! After watching your last episode I cast on the Cambria wrap as yours is gorgeous!!! look forward to your next episode!
Thank you! The Streamline Tank is a great pattern - just made one this summer and hope to make another, so maybe I'll used the Hobbii yarn! Glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you're enjoying the Cambria wrap!
Ooh I absolutely loved seeing how different the striping was on the swatch vs the sweater. I didn’t like the color changes on the search but I loved them so much on the sweater! Can’t wait to see the finished product in a future video. :)
The yarn you used for the terrazzo sweater looked amazing knitted up! I also have been looking at the baby cotton so I'm glad to see you thought it was a nice yarn to work with
Omg I LOVE your idea of using that yarn for the Terrazzo sweater 😍 and you're right I think the color change is turning out so perfect!! I have bought yarn on Hobbi before but it wasn't one of their branded yarns. I would love to try out the cotton you used when it's warm again :)
Thank you! I knit them flat - I don't think I have much variation in my gauge between flat and in the round because I haven't seen any issues in my FOs. However I should try an in-the-round gauge swatch just to see if there is any variation!
