Hobbiton in Matamata, New Zealand is still open for tours, the gardens are fully functional and they use the produce to feed people at the Dragons Inn tavern and to brew the beer they make there (which the meal + a beer is added in the tour cost) Excess produce is donated to families in need. They also make the cups you drink out of. If your tour guide is kind and you ask quietly, they may let you keep the mug too! Spent my 21st there and cant wait to go back
