Potatoes were a great idea for your dinner in the Shire. After all, with potatoes, you can boil 'em mash 'em stick 'em in a stew! That Airbnb looked absolutely incredible! It would be cool to stay there for a night. I really enjoyed this one!

Visited Hobbiton set a few years ago and climbed to the top Mount Ngauruhoe which is Mount Doom in the film. It was hard and scary, but an unforgettable experience! Can't wait to do it again

WHAT!!! ?, no damn way. As a huge fan of Tolkien and the films (yes, i am a apologist of the Hobbit films) myself and as someone who lives in Vancouver, i never knew this. Thanks Nadine for bringing this up, i now must book this with me and my girlfriend. Also , Rohirrim is a Territory or Rohan.

I haven't seen that movies in forever!!!! Oh I played uno with my extended family and you know it sometimes it doesn't take long to win but this time we played omgggggggg it was taking yearssssssssssss for someone to win someone would get close then something would happen then its back to how it was in beginning so we just stopped completely eventually and no one won and it was 1 game taking forever and no one wanted to play anymore

Very nice job from the Canadian who built it. You need to learn some elvish though but definitely don't say it with the vocal fry. Elena sila lumen omentielvo is the standard expression that most fans know. Your male friend sounds very knowledgeable though he noticed the G rune on the door.

@heynadine I did. I had to learn through a different channel and research it that it was a final set prop due to bad weather. The authenticity is In question though. Can someone really claim it belongs to Canada? When it's a franchise mainly filmed in nz and the Simpson desert. Someone who has lived underneath the shadow of ruhapehuwould know the difference. As I have found from external sources most of the villages over in Canada and other air bnb style hobbiton homes were inspired from said sets as well as a 5th grader designing the best in Canada. I did my research. As I said big fan.
