do they have special tour guides for LotR nerds? well, not as nerdy as to make tour all in Sindarin language, but assuming that our group has read all books and appendices and seen all films and have Opininons on them (particularly Hobbit films, of course). anyways, thank you kind sir for presenting this opportunity to have idea what those tourse are like. not sure if i ever make it to NZ but if, then Hobbiton is one place i want to see. i guess maybe tour guides are all prepared nerds, but decide on nerdiness level after first show of hands?
I don't think they have "special" guides for the extreme LOTR nerds but each guide speaks to the level of the group of 15-20 people. You might, however, have some great side conversations with the guide during tour breaks. The young lady who served as our guide, I thought was just perfect and did a wonderful job, keeping things moving along, and letting us enjoy things ourselves without having to feel like she needed to be talking the ENTIRE time.
