You have the sidewinders in the wrong direction, they should be mounted outboard of the external tanks. The UK F3 interceptor mounts them that way. I have the corgi UK GR4 retirement markings one on the way to display with my Witty Wings F3 interceptor ( UK number 43 squadron the fighting cocks lol). While there I jumped on the Ukrainian SU-27 blue 58 which had just come out a few days ago. The Ukrainian series from hobby master is spaced out BTW next month with be the MiG-29 yellow 57 which may or may not be the model for the “ ghost of Kyiv”. The SU-25 will not be long after
Thanks for posting this review - well done! Was thinking of getting this particular version for some time now (I have the classic IDS JaboG 34 "Allgäu" already from the same era) and always liked the classic Navy version too. Your video made up my mind for me and I just ordered a couple (one for at home and one for the office) while they're still readily available. I agree with you that the HM model is a bit better regarding accuracy and general looks than Corgi (never mind the fixed horizontal stabilizer). Will be sought after once it's sold out! Fun fact: Tactical number on this one is 43+44 and 44+43 on the "Allgäu" version. Nice touch ;-)
The corgi Tornado has a more accurate shape than the HM especially the canopy. Why did you buy from eBay when this is in stock from domestic retailers?
