Is this the correct Freq selection for the Q100...seems a bit strange..wondering if there are some typos. Taken from Chart in the kit. 5658 R1 5695 R2 5732 R3 5769 R4 5806 R5 5843 R6 5880 R7 5917 R8 5705 E1 ??? 5740 F1 5760 F2 5780 F3 5790 B4 ??? 5820 F5 5860 F7 5945 F8 Thanks
Good video. However, being very new to this, I struggled trying to get Cleanflight to connect. After researching many google articles I found that I needed to use the CP210x drivers. It would have been nice it this was stated in the video.
Hi i was wondering if you could help me. I just put my q100 together so when I go on cleanflight I can't get my radio to talk to the FC tho I know it's bound(taranis). I have all the correct settings. I do however have a blinking green light. I reflashed it was the latest firmware and recalibrated the accelerometer but nothing has changed.
Sounds like there may be multiple issues going on. Please visit the help thread on RCGroups. We monitor that thread closely and can help more efficiently. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2789815-Hobbymate-Q100-Micro-Help-Discussion
I am new to all of this, so I just watched the video and I'm about to construct the drone. Few questions, what do I buy to hook my drone up to the computer? In the video it says plug it into the usb port, but the kit doesn't come with a usb connector. Also, how do i use the camera-do i need a special app? does it live stream as it goes or what? Any help is appreciated.
Having problems getting your DSM2/DSMX Rx(one with button) to work with DX6i. It binds ok on the main Rx but I do not see channels working in CF. It works ok with DX9 with forced DSM2 frame. Any ideas? thanks P.S. Ok it worked this time when I bound it...weird..
How do you program the transmitter with the Q100? I just got the same Tx (Spektrum DX7 using dsm2) and can't find any documentation on programming it for this multirotor. I followed the video and everything is showing up correctly in CF, the inputs from the transmitter are showing in CleanFlight when the quad is connected via USB, but when I go to fly the quad nothing happens/none of the rotors spin up. Are there any guides or how-tos for setting everything up transmitter side that you can point me to? Thanks!
The Q100 kit comes with a Spektrum satellite receiver (if this is the kit you bought). You have to bind this satellite receiver to your radio. Normally, you plug this satellite receiver to another Spektrum receiver that has a port for a satellite receiver. Then you bind that entire receiver setup with your radio, just like binding any regular Spektrum receiver. In his video, at 7:10, he mentioned (he did not show) how he bound this satellite receiver to his DX7.
I got this running with some help! You need to set it in CleanFlight CLI section. Try this - Go to the receiver tab on beta flight. And move your sticks up and down and write down the min and max values Then go to the cli screen. 0=roll 1=pitch 2=yaw 3=throttle In cli screen type: rxrange 0 (minvalue#) (maxvalue#) So if your roll min was 1100 and max was 1830 you type: rxrange 0 1100 1830 (enter) do that for the rest 1,2 and 3 then type "save" .
Hi Chris. I can try and help but it would be nice to know more. How are you arming? Stick or switch? If switch, did you test it in Cleanflight to make sure it was arming? Also, I believe if you have motor stop on it takes a few seconds after you arm before props will spin so try waiting a few seconds after arming and before throttling up.
Yes, you do. If you bought the kit, then you should have selected the Flysky receiver in the Receiver Option. Check here, www.hobbymatehobby.com/product/micro-fpv-rc-quadcopter-q100combo/
