We've just had the first round of the BRCA Front Wheel Drive nationals so I've taken an in-depth look at the spec motor and ESC combo we're using.
(Sorry for the terrible thumbnail pun - in no way am I trying to imply that the results of the race were dodgy!)

Thanks for the vid. The only video I’ve found that really details this motor and esc, and you do so very thoroughly yet concisely. 👍

Which body shell is that hatchback? 10th scale or 12th? Looks great 🔥

We were required to run this motor and no one else got it.. mine is almost as fast as a cordless drill. I have to watch cars lap me every 3 laps!..

Thanks for this video... I'd like to learn more about the racing you're talking about, and about this car in your video... but I came upon your video looking up information about this Justock combo... I'm wondering if this would be a comparable setup that would perform somewhat similarly to the brushed 60A esc and a Tamiya Torque Tuned or Sport Tuned, or similar motors... ones like what's included in a TT02 kit... I'm trying to help start up a class at a new track that is being built near me... they're going to have GT8, Nitro 1/10, mod TC, 21.5 TC, 1/12, and Euro Truck... I'm trying to help come up with something that will work put as another entry point aside from Euro Truck, something affordable, but still fun amd open to tuning the cars some...using included motors or what comes in brushed RTR cars, etc... and have a Brushless option as well that would be comparable... Sport Touring class is what I'm trying to start, and it would use the following... Any 1/10 , tub chassis, shaft drive car Any kit/rtr included brushed motor Any Tamiya Torque Tuned or Sport Tuned replacement motor, or a Hobbywing Justock 17.5 Brushless combo...(may spec an additional, similar sealed can brushed motor if the Tamiyas get hard to source) Any 190 or 200mm body that resembles a real car... no TC bodies that aren't modeled after a real vehicle 2s lipo Tires will be spec, still figuring that out....but likely what's used in 21.5 TC... The track is just being built, so I'm fresh to onroad entirely, and have no experience with any form of spec racing really, all of our offroad outdoor racing is open/mod classes. Any advice or input would be most appreciated. Cheers

Basically you can't compare brushless with brushed, one will always be faster, and everyone will run the faster option. Same with "open" tub chassis, you think it will be easy to enter, but someone will have a TC3 in storage that will handle much better than an off the shelf Tamiya. That's why euro trucks are so popular, all the trucks are the same, it's just driving and good preparation that makes the difference. Sounds like the track has enough classes already. 21.5TC would be the next step up from Tamiya trucks.

Ey is this one sensored and brushless? I just got into buggies and it said it is. Well it's in the mail on the way. This is a little discouraging😔 but being very new and from all I can gather.. it's not like a faster is gonna make me better. I just need to know if it can even work well enough to clear jumps? Maybe you could sharea little more description. Did I make a huge mistake?

Yes this is sensored and brushless. It is not as fast as a full "race" 17.5 setup. Whether that will be a problem for your use I couldn't say.
