Nice flight! I like how you've taken a step back since your crash with the Artizan, and have been flying some easier Cubs so you can hone in on your flying skills before you try flying the Artizan again.
+TOYBOX RC After flying the 4 channel trainer, I actually think the 3 channel is harder to fly as you have less control and it definitely feels like a tail dragger in the turns, mainly if it's windy. So I'm gonna get the 4ch up this weekend. Thanks a ton mate (-:
That's it Jax, Nailed it, It makes a big difference when you have the right model to learn on, keep practicing those figure 8s till your blue in the face, thumbs up! :)
+yowieP51 I have the figure eights down pat and been doing a few loops and stall turns and stuff too. This vid was on my 3rd flight with this plane, I must be up to about 20 now ha ha, I'm loving it. I have a 4ch brushless sport cub that I will start flying this weekend, can't wait! Thanks my friend (-:
+TOJO RC Yeah it sure was a nice day, this weekend promises to be the same and very low wind speeds, can't wait! Thanks heaps mate, I love doing the landings (-:
+iROCK™ RC Thanks heaps mate, landing is the most fun part of flying planes, it's exciting and fun and so satisfying when you nail it perfectly. Loving it bro (-:
+Franky goes to Hobbywood Cheers mate, I am getting the hang of it pretty quick. The slowmos look good with the planes but need to get them in nice and close (-:
+chris miller You already know whats next ha ha It's actually a great plane for a 3ch brushed, very stable flyer. It's good fun and looks great in the air. Cheers mate (-:
+Martijn Langeveld I have just started getting into the planes, so it's all new and very exciting! I have since started flying a 4 channel Sport cub and doing loops and barrel rolls and even tried a bit of inverted flight, it's a lot of fun but it's always so damn windy here ha ha Thanks mate (-:
+RCANTs Thanks Ant, I have a great time everytime I fly this plane, it's a lot of fun but only a 3 channel. I have since moved on to a 4 channel cub and doing all kinds of loops and rolls and rudder turns and even some inverted stuff. So much fun (-:
+Heli Mouse Thanks Mouse, it is a cool plane but it's only 3 channel so it has limited flight capabilities, I am moving up to a 4 channel this weekend (-:
nice! last time we went to the airfield i didnt even take one picture.. lol it was hard too because there was a bunch of nice and big scale planes there. looks like it was a nice day out. love watching these things fly. thumbs up
Jax Teller RC nope. had the camera with me. just decided not to take pictures and just watch all the seasoned guys fly that day. i regret it a bit but ill get them another time. lol it was hard not to though.
+iPilott4411 Thanks mate, I have been flying heaps since this video and have moved up to a 4 channel cub, I'm doing all sorts of aerobatics already. It's a lot of fun, cheers (-:
+Todd Davis Thanks Todd, I'm learning pretty quick, just need to get onto the brushless 4 channel now and start doing some loops and barrel rolls and stuff (0:
Great vid and nice flying think u can prob handle the artemisia now. Great job on the touch and go looks like u been flying for years. Awesome vid as always thumbs up and kick ass jax
+4thGloryMonday Yeah I picked it up pretty quick, I think flying quads helps a lot because flying nose in is no problem. I think I am ready for the Artisan too, but I have a parkzone 4ch sport cub that I will fly next before I take the Artizan up again. Cheers buddy (-:
Very nice impressive indeed my friend! Practice makes perfect, it's very obvious with the figure eights (left and right turns) low level, touch and goes and most importantly... the wing supports and cowling are still intact lol! That will change and that's ok as it proves that your pushing the envelope! Man, most of your viewers are wonder if you changed your hat to a propeller beanie from a crawler cap ; ) I believe I can fly!!! Thumbs up mate! Cheers Jax!
+Cadillacstsv06 Thanks mate, yeah I have had a few close calls with this plane already, mainly because of trying to fly in high winds and then fly really low all the time ha ha I have always been into all types of RCs, doesn't matter to me so long as it's RC (0:
+zimmy1958 Thanks heaps mate, I am really getting the hang of this flying fixed wing stuff now, it's so much fun! Maybe I shouldn't fly under the airport flightpath ha ha
+Basildon Trail Blazing Buddies Thanks mate, yeah this plane lands like a dream, I was flying it in super windy conditions today and managed some pretty sketchy take offs and landings. It's good fun (-: Yeah the other one is all glued back together with a couple of carbon fibre pins across the joins, might fall to pieces mid flight though ha ha
+Torro´s RC Chanel .RC Drift and Offroad Racing Thanks heaps Torro, I'm having a great time flying the planes. I love doing the landings, especially if it's a little windy. It's a challenge but so satisfying (-:

Jax Teller RC yes that's right, it is a challenge for wind to get a good landing :-))
bro that was some smooth ass flying man I can see the airplane world done got you ain't it great man one of these days I will try to fly that was a cool video bro you make it look easy Chinese man
+Roy Nelson Yeah it sure has, I am just editing a new plane vid now with a different plane. They are a ton of fun for sure when you get them sussed out. Thanks Japanese boy ha ha ha
I hear you Japanese boy you're the hobbyzone freak LMAO I will check that video out brother those are a lot of fun and it looks like that's for sure I can see you're already addicted hahaha
Wow! You're plane battery outlasted the music! Looks like a nice day for flying. Any future plans for mounting a 808 key-chain-cam or the like to a fixed wing? Thx Jax!
+Steve RC Ha ha, cheers mate. Actually if I fly this plane on half throttle like I was in this video and just do casual easy flying like that, it will easily fly for 25 minutes! This plane is just a stepping stone in my learning, I am pretty much done with it already and will be moving on to 4 channel planes this weekend. I will put my mobius on and see how the footage turns out (-:
Sounds great Jax! I'll be on the lookout for the aerial view. I've seen guys point the Mobius at the tail, pretty interesting POV. Maybe more interesting if the plane had a ribbon attached? IDK, I'm reaching here!
+bdseidler Yeah, I have been practicing quite a lot, this video was taken on about the 3rd flight with this plane, I am an expert on it already, time to step it up to a brushless 4 channel (-: Great job on the sunken city vid by the way, looks amazing! Cheers my friend
Jax Teller RC Thx Jax for the remote comment on the Sunken City video. I had to disable comments. It's too bad that some people leave derogatory comments when they see women and my wife doesn't like it. Too bad, I really want to hear the reviews. I was somewhat proud of this edit, even tho I did not fly it.
bdseidler No worries mate, it certainly was a fantastic edit. We are all men and when we see hot ladies we just get so excited ha ha. I will admit I had to switch to full screen and pause the video at that one part LOL (0;
Thanks man, this was from my early training days, so I had very little experience. Things are a lot different now, I have a whole hangar full of planes and it keeps growing. Should have got into fixed wings 20 years ago ha ha
Thanks mate, I got my self addicted to planes as soon as I realized I could fly ha ha ha. I am now flying these: Supercub S2, Parkzone Artizan, Parkzone Mustang, Freewing Mustang, Parkzone Sukhoi, Eflte Brave, Ares V4 VTOL, Eflite Convergence VTOL, BIX 3 and have just bought an Eflite Icon, it's still in the box (0: Check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qLcgDUJuffc.html
What a great flight, I feel sorry for you though as it looks freezing there!!!! :D , you must get some killer thermals there, that old GWS tiger moth I told you about, I nearly lost that in a thermal, shit myself as it was a tiny speck, full rudder and elevator was my only hope lol, got it down eventually, can't wait to get some of that sun.Have you thought about converting that to 4 channel by adding ailerons?
+ARCEYE78 Thanks mate, yeah man it's bloody frozen over hare ha ha ha I haven't come across any thermals yet but I have encountered some high winds that sweep the plane up into the air and I struggled to get it to come back down. This plane is just a stepping stone, I already have a 4 channel parkzone sport cub brushless. I will fly it for the first time tomorrow, chances are I will prob never fly this 3ch again after that, I am thinking of giving it to one of my mates. I also bought a 4ch Bix3 and I still have the Artizan 4ch that I crashed and repaired. Oh happy days ha ha (0:
High jack ,happy new year, you mentioned that you have the Parkzone Artizan have you any video of it, i know you cant buy them anymore ,i am looking for a secondhand one
Hey mate! Happy NEW YEARS!!! (0: Yeah I sure do have video of it, the Artizan is my favorite plane, I fly it all the time, check my vids: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dFspb7d2iTY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dFspb7d2iTY.html
Very beautiful plane Jax :) You flew it pretty nicely! That's a beautful open space even by the way! Feel free to invite me anytime :p Sweet landing! Bravo :D Thanks for sharing and have a great week
+ABMNS PRODUCTION It sure is a huge open space and perfect for flying planes. I have to say I was a little nervous to fly there because there were quite a few people around, especially behind me and I am still new to flying and also with a new plane. I love landing, it's my favorite part, it just looks so cool and gives such a great feeling of success (-: Thanks a ton my friend and you are welcome any time!
+Stephen Purington Thanks mate, this plane is only a 3 channel so it has no ailerons. after flying the 4 channel training plane with ailerons I want to say the 3 channel is harder to fly because you have way less control. I have a 4ch cub same size as this one all ready to go, will fly it this weekend (-:

Aha! Sir Jax liked the experience with cub-like planes huh? :D hahaha! Good for you mate! Looks like a very nice park flier to me! Well flown as well :) What camera did you use for this by the way? Ohw, and send some of that weather my way please ;) Cheers!
+DutchRC Adventures Yeah the cubs are fun, I have the parkzone sportcub 4ch brushless here and all ready to fly this weekend. I am using a gopro 3 black. It's quite old now and has been smashed into hundreds of times by RC cars and even dipped underwater a couple of times on quadcopters and the lens has been replaced with a cheap after market one. It's getting tired I think. I really should upgrade it to a 4 It's the middle of summer here, so it's great weather every day, but the heat makes it quite windy! Thanks bud (-:
+Jax Teller RC Sounds like your gopro has earned it's keep ;) I might upgrade to a GoPro 4 in a while as well, because I'm not completely happy with the SJcam's.. I'll give it a bit more time because they are still working on the firmware.. Who knows ;)
DutchRC Adventures Gopro will always be the best. Only thing stopping me from already buying a 4 is that they take different batteries, so it means I have to buy all spare batteries again and chargers as well!
+Jax Teller RC Best.. hm I really don't know.. Sony makes some pretty nice cam's as well.. The form-factor is different though.. Hmmm that sucks quite a bit!
DutchRC Adventures Yeah the shape or the sony makes it bad for gimbals and makes you look weird if you have it as a on your forehead as a headcam ha ha
+Ken Oath Yeah no worries mate............easy! ha ha I have never done FPV in any form, so I will prob try it on a car first and get used to it. Still have more to learn with flying too, want it to be second nature (-:
Ken Oath I have the Bix3 still need to assemble it, but I am really looking forward to FPVing with it. I want a small gimbal that can carry the mobius for it
+Jax Teller RC Cool, I know Eachine did a Mobius gimbal for quad' and RC logger had the X1 gimbal that looked pretty good. The other option might be a Walkera G-2D modded, Seby Docky did a vid' on it. I've got a G-2D unused that I'm hoping to mount up on the 757-4 with Xiaomi Yi if it's not too heavy for it. My plane just cleared Sydney customs yesterday.. another week or so I hope. That sale that Hobby King just had... I bought a HK Cloud Surfer PNP for like $84! Though the postage cost more :-( For the Cloud Surfer I'm wanting Pan/Tilt setup for head tracking with the RunCam.
Ken Oath Yeah it all comes down to weight at the end of the day. Head tracking would be so much fun on a plane. It's amazing how cheap planes are, I can't stop looking at them and thinking what to buy next ha ha
