I love ALL THINGS Radio Control, Cars, Trucks, Quadcopters, Helicopters, Crawlers, Boats, Motorbikes, Planes, Tanks. You name it and I probably have a video on it!
It’s the Tamiya one. But I did have to put chassis rails out to support the front. They are screwed to the ax10 frame and then screwed to the front bumper. I also put lead shotgun pellets inside the tires to keep the weight down low. See my other video called shotgun wheel weights if you’re interested. Works great. Cheers
I guess your tyres didn't need foams to begin with. And fishing lead is an alternative. But I'm going to say that this is not ideal way to add low down weight, especially if you get a situation that requires good wheel speed. ( heh, I used to be a tyre fitter and went out to farms to add salted water to tractor inner tubes). At high-ish revs, the lead will be thrown around inside the tyre and will totally unbalance each of the wheels, so you may find wheels being lifted off the ground and/or wobbling all over the place. Personally I put double sided sticky tape round the centre of my model's wheel wells, then I wound plumbers solder wire around in the well, electrical tape over that, then replaced the foams. I think I added 150 grammes to each wheel of my crawler.
You really can’t hear it when your out trailing. This is a great mod. Makes your rig perform so much better on really tough obstacles. Have fun out there.
Wait! Your still alive?! Well, thanks for posting this, Just got one for being good this year, and I’m loving it. Just hadn’t had a chance to really have fun with it. Yet.
Great video! Got this plane over Christmas of 20' but still nervous to fly( not that I don't want to) any anything you can provide to get my nerves out
Hi nick. Just take it easy. No stunts straight away. Get up high as quick as you can as that will give you more chance to save yourself from hitting anything. Best thing for this little plane is 0 wind. It’s so light that even a slight breeze can make it get out of control until you learn how to fly it.
The name of your channel is pretty lame and your channel content is terrible. Your taste in videos for your playlists is embarrassing. How about actually making a video before leaving negative comments about other people’s you dickhead!
pinkze he say " Jax you're back !! Awesome, sorry i only just seen this ! A great channel and i always remember all the support you have given pinkze ! "
It’s hard to say because there are different types of grass. Long or short grass. But I think the grip would be about the same for these or the stock tires
Hey man love the video I know this is a lot to ask for but I found the one 16th scale gravedigger tires from Traccsas so you’re telling me these will fit on my slash
I just picked one of these up used. From what I see in your video I'm surprised at how well it takes the jumps. I thought it would be bouncy but it lands so softly. I can't wait to rebuild the shocks give it a nice tune up and get her out there for a little fun. I'm going to get the Traxxas Classic Big Foot and have them battle it out Monster Jam style. LOL
Wow mate, you brought back so many memories with the 80's era cars !!! I remember racing in the late 80's - early 90's with a Tamiya Vanquish against the Avante, Egress, the Kyosho Optima, Turbo Optima-Mid SE, the Ultima, the Team Associated RC-10 and so on and so forth...Great vid mate !!!
The grass hopper from the 80's.. I think they still sell it today was one of my first electric rc vehicles and I enjoy many hrs of fun with this little car. Jax I believe you have lots of fun too with all those RC nice memory thank you for sharing my friend!
Yeah the grasshopper is definitely one of the coolest looking of the Tamiya line up. The grasshopper only comes with a 380 size motor so you need to upgrade to a 540. Thanks mate (0:
