love the idea of the 6-month pages functioning somewhat as an index. i go back and forth on whether an index is necessary for me, so i think this idea will help

I’m also someone who is starting to take her art journey seriously and I got a Hobonichi HON for 2024 - I’m coming from bullet journaling and I’ve never had a hobonichi before, so it’s all very exciting! I loved your video, it was very helpful to see your setup as I’m in the process of finalising mine for my hon, though I feel like it will be a work in progress for the first few months as I find out what works and what doesn’t! I also took pictures of my hon and played around in procreate to plan the spreads haha! Thank you for making this, I have subscribed as I love the vibes. I tried it in the past but making all of my layouts was too time consuming for me, and not especially enjoyable after the first one... @@Julie.Miette Hey Julie, so sorry for the late reply!! Yt notifications failed me… Same as you - the upkeep of having to make all of my spreads every month/week was too much! I work in the TV industry and the hours can be really long. I didn’t want to come home and have to do yet more work for my journal! I’ve been using my hobonichi for about three weeks now and I absolutely love it! It’s the perfect mix of memory keeping & productivity for me! 🥰 I’ve made a video about it & I plan to make more in the future! Thank you so much! 😊 I have been using it consistently since this video, doing what I showed in the video, and it's worked very well for me! I just stopped doing the title thing, and also illustrations, I'm really using it as a planner tool and nothing else. Keeping things simple is what helps me the most ultimately.
Great video! I subscribed 2 minutes into it hahaha. Loved the tryout scanned sheet, very clever way to decide the layout. I am on the same page as you, I got my first hobonichi this year but I ended up buying the cousin a5, hon a6 and the weeks for different things and I am loving them. I am also new here on YT and filmed my hobonibchi haul, later I will film my layouts, you inspired me!

Je comprends ! Surtout que le prix de base est autour de 30 euros, c'est le transport et l'import du Japon qui le fait monter... J'ai pris le mien chez Stilo & Stile, ils sont en Italie et ils sont hyper sérieux et rapides. Essaie de surveiller Vinted dans les prochaines semaines, il y a probablement des gens qui en auront pris ou eu un pour le nouvel an qui ne s'en serviront pas 🤞
