Congratulations Hoda! I don't even watch the Today show and I'm crying with joy and happiness for her.

Despite her age, I honestly think Hoda will be an awesome Mom. I never imagined she would have children! But that being said, she is such a joyful, loving person. She's a cancer survivor. She's got so much to give to a child. I can't imagine the hole that this baby filled in her heart. Motherhood truly is a beautiful thing.

I cry every time I see this. Haley is one lucky little girl!!!!!

First off Hodt your personality shines through our eye's. To the people that are judging her by age I tell you this. I was the girl with the oldest mom and dad in school. I often would get so furious at my parents because, I was going to be the only child either attending a parents funeral or an old folks home. I lived in anger and fear of loss that it over took my childhood. I am now the mom of 7 grandma to 22.5. I have attended the funeral now of so many school friends & their parents. I wasted a life time to worry. Guess who still has her parents? I do and 86 looks amazing. Hodt gave this little girl a mommy. I am 52 mommy to adopted child as well. There is no love like the bonding of a life no matter how they got here.

The child’s heritage and history remain respected, because he or she remains legally a member of the family of origin and the original parents of the child are still that child’s legal parents. The type of guardianship that is promoted there is a child centered outcome, based on honesty and respect. What we have established here in the US with adoption, should become a thing of the past.
