I'm sitting here at my desk, my eyes welled up in tears, deeply feeling every single moment of this segment. I just called off my engagement and ended my relationship after 5 ½ years. I made the choice to be brave and to shift course on my own because I also knew that it was the wrong fit, that I was being optimistic. That I was attempting a square peg in a round hole. I had to speak my truth and it was one of the most difficult, challenging, and beautiful moments of my life. At 37, I was brave enough to choose me. Hoda, I wish you nothing but love. You deserve every moment of your new chapter, however it may turn out.

Oooh Hoda kotb is such a wonderful human being. Even though she's been in a very tough situation ,but she handles herself with so much grace and character of a strong woman. I totally understand about what she said about a relationship with a reason ,and a season and a lifetime. And hers is a season. You are an inspiration Hoda, I love you!
