During a discussion about being brutally honest, Jenna Bush Hager got emotional talking about not knowing how to support Hoda Kotb while her daughter was in the hospital. “I just wasn’t there for her the way I wanted to be,” Jenna says.

I’ve always noticed how beautiful Hoda’s arms are and am so envious! Who the heck would say she shouldn’t wear sleeveless??? That’s crazy!

My best friend had a heart episode that could have taken her life but it didn’t thankfully. When that happened I pulled away from her physically and emotionally and I didn’t know why I was doing that at the time. After I sat in my feelings for a bit I realized I was doing it as a way to protect myself from unbearable pain if things did not end like we hoped. Once I figured that out I went to her and told her why I was MIA and she gave me the best hug and said “I know. It’s okay”. She would have had every right to be angry with me for pulling back when she needed my love and comfort but she showed me a grace I will never forget. This is why she’s my best friend in the world. ❤️

I have been known to be brutally honest. Especially at work. In the last few years I consider this: is it someone I care for? Will it help? Can I say it kindly? Will this person even hear me? Taking the time to answer those questions and then deciding, I am much less likely to even speak.

Discuss with love! I have no time for brutally honest. No sense in it. It’s a phrase people just got used to saying. It immediately sends a bad feeling of shock. You girls are just the sweetest. Speak your truth gently and kindly with thought. You guys are friends and you should trust that neither of you have a mean bone in your body. Women can be the worst...I was in the workforce for a very longtime and it was horrible. Men tend to be up front and say things to your face even if hurtful. Women, I found to be really two faced and be nice to your face one minute but attack you when when you leave or talk smack. I do feel it's jealousy and insecurity. Secure people know when to be quiet and be discerning or to stop the gossip too.

Today the Entertainment reporter confused his audience with a common mistake which he refers to as a clue that Adele is married. He ponders that a possessive form of the word must mean plural. No that is not true it means ownership. The plural form of the name would be spelled with an s. Therefore, the book on Adele’s bookshelf means it belongs to her.

It doesn’t make sense to talk about a private convo and air it out that way. The context of the conversation doesn’t even make sense. How was she brutally honest about that to Hoda? Even Hoda said she’s surprised she bringing it up. She sound so immature. I sense there is some complex issues going on behind the scene.
