Looks fantastic George! I know I wish I still had the ‘72 Chevy truck my dad had many years ago. He had a extra fuel tank made that fit where the spare would be...a toggle switch under the dash to switch between the tanks. He would find a low gas price, fill both tanks, and go forever til the next fill up. Good old memories.
I actually learned to drive on my dads 69 Chevrolet just like the orange one on my workbench. No power steering, no power brakes. 3 on the tree. .as for my 87 i always wanted one and i finally got one n
Good to see you back George, awesome GMC truck, takes me back to all those great TV shows & movies from the 70's & 80's,great job, look forward to seeing the update on your '72 Monte Carlo too, cheers
Great job on the GMC George! The little 3 wheeler Honda looks perfect sitting in the back. Absolutely loving the April Wine. One of my all time favorite bands that I got the pleasure to see a couple of times 🍻
@@hodgeshotwheelsanddiecast5192 oh hodge I understand that when it gets warm I want to get the cars out, mow the grass and hang hangout! Btw how’s the Monte Comin???
@@hodgeshotwheelsanddiecast5192 We all miss at least ONE vehicle we used to have. The one I miss the MOST? My 1968 Cougar XR-7 that my dad (R.I.P.) plopped a 429 in. BTW... ain't seen Ya around my comment sections in a long time buddy
Awesome truck! I wouldn't want to be the guy that had to lift that old 200 up into that bed. The diorama always looks amazing also 👍. Have a great weekend
Very cool build and idea, looking good George drove a tow truck/ wrecker truck back in 1989 same model, I'm doing simular idea, I'm building all my own cars in Diecast, 1st was my XB Ford Falcon GT Coupe in Orange build u seen, hundreds to go😂, really looking forward to seeing your creations of your own also, nice build on this 1, cheers stay safe take care KC 😎👍🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸🏆
Everyone seems to agree with my feeling; the wee Honda takes this build to another level. A few offcuts of styrene would make a couple of ramps to throw in the back of the pick-up.😁 That's quite a line-up in the street at the end.👍👌😁 Great to see you back again George, it's been a while.😁 Cheers for now,🍻 Dougie.
Thats such a clean build. Love it. Im planning a tribute build of all the beetles ive had, no they werent normal so it will be fun. Good to see you back bud
Thanks so much buddy! When the weather starts to get warm. I get antsy to do things outside. I love the old beetles. My buddy Bob used to be a bug guru back in the day. When we were teenagers he thought it would be fun to jump one of the old one lane bridges since they were higher than the road back in the day. He managed to get all 4 wheels off the ground but the rear suspension bottomed out and shattered the oil pan spreading oil everywhere 🤣🤣🤣🤣.good times
Really like it George 👍, I use to own a “79”C -10 4x4 , Black with camel interior , 305 cid, fuel injected, daul exhaust , wish I still had it. I now own a “99” F-350 crew cab power stoke.Take care buddy, see ya on your next build. 👋. 😎👍👍👍🚗🚘🚙
bench seat for sure lol. had a 79 long box with a 6 in it 17 years ago. had the van seats and center console so was hard to drive being 6'2. love the square bodies but had to get a more family oriented ride with my oldest being born at the time
Great chatting with you as well my brother from down under. Im slowly recreating all my old cars in diecast, and we haven't even touched on the Trans Ams yet. Or the Mustang's. Lol
@@hodgeshotwheelsanddiecast5192 You'd probably get a kick out of my rides. A '62 Chevy bus, '66 Rambler American, '82 Chevy C20 4x4 and an '86 Olds from new.
*GO AHEAD‼️* Do it anyway - Make "The Fall Guy" truck❗ & Also,make Judge Milton C. Hardcastle's GMC stepside pick-up,PLEEEEEZZZ. I always loved that truck. 😍 Hoping to try & do 'em myself,sooome day. 😔 (Luv Jon's "CHiP's" truck♥️).
Brother I don't know what happened there, it never let me know that you uploaded something. I was just thinking damn I haven't seen the video from him in a long time, yes there's videos there I just didn't get to watch them. The square body is freaking awesome, all these diecast companies should check out your channel and see what you're doing with your diecast. Brother you are making nicer cars than all of those big-name companies
Dig Hodgie! Good deal brother! Luv sum April Wine too, Natue of the Beast was the sht and the next few albums after that were good too! Anyways , I dig the old Chevy trucks too, had a few different ones my own self!
