How sweet to write and sing the song inviting your parents to the Fl Keys. I went there for the first time two years ago and then again this year. I absolutely LOVE the Keys! I could live there 365 days a year! It would be expected Joel's parents would be wonderful people. They raised sweet, caring, tenderhearted Joely!

Yet, this year, with your parent so far away, everything you are struggling with at such a deep emotional level, that they have been there at your side and loving you, been a source of trust and comfort for you. It's OK to cry bonnie, I have really been thinking about Russell and Eve and the other kids, my heart breaks for them But then I realize this will be (hopefully the best CHRISTMAS ever. As long as Kevin doesn't have the kids, sorry but I worry and pray for the kids like they are my own).

Im your parents age, so I see things a little "deeper" than most..both my parents are gone now and Ive lost my only son so I think I can see your heart. Grandma and Grandpa sure raised a good, loving family man, you have worked so hard and pushed yourself...please step back a little and catch your breath, you have the rest of your life to tie up the loose ends. I cried with you Bonnie. I lost my Dad on the 12th of this month, and then 5 days later, on the 17th, my mother in law passed away. We just said good bye to them both yesterday. So its been very tough for my husband and i, especially as they were our last surviving parents. My Dad also would have been 81 on the 19th and Margaret would have been 84 on New years eve. So this whole month is a disaster and Christmas will be very low key for us. We are just too numb to even try to be upbeat at the moment. Best wished to you all, Merry Christmas.

The excitement from all the kids and it was all so simple and really took me back to yesteryear. Then as you speak as if speaking to them I was so humbled by listening to how supportive they are and how they have stepped in while your parents are gone it made my heart happy for you because I know how hard this year has been.
