Thank you Dave for the support I'm very happy to get this into more primal hands. If you need or want a bow Dave is the guy his bows are amazing. If any one has questions let me know.
Hey Dave. Another great video. Impressive material. Glade to see your son growing up with a bow in his hand. He's a great shot and will only get better! Just like native americans trained their children.
You could but I'd rather use real snakeskin its lighter and would not decrease performance at all. I have some examples on my website where I put snakeskin over hog on 2horsebows. www.meadlongbows.com thx for watching
No offense Dave but as far as "Survival Foods" in sealed buckets are concerned Pffffffft!!! You are a "homesteader." You should be preserving food by Drying, Fermenting, Pickling, Canning, etc. That's my opinion and you can continue buying buckets of so called "survival" food in plastic buckets. Personally I have veen canning food for the last 60 years. My collection of cannibg jars is extensive. I use the book "The Lost Ways."
None taken, David and we do all that as well ...but many others out there dealing with the current situation don't have the means, time, or know how to produce a stock pile of long lasting food. This is a great solution to stock up feel secure you can feed your family if it ever comes to it. I got that book too, its a great one
Just ordered some! Gonna back my bow with these hog skins then add some sort of skin (snake, sturgeon, carp) to dress it up. Might be buying more! Thanks for the video and supplying these!
That's awesome. I'm really looking forward to building a new bow and using that backing. I'm a big fan of that lightly wrinkled look too. And for such a light weight option for so much added protection is amazing
Was wondering how those hog guts would work and with quality rawhide getting expensive and hard to find these just might be a great alternative. Thanks for the info Dave.
Well I love your bows I got one of your kits and put it together was wanting 40# but got in a hurry and did not check it when I should have came out to 30 1/2 but it still shoots good
