I literally did that initial butterfly quest and completed it, so when looking through all the other locations for that final conjuration, I did not even consider checking that first one... and I of course find out that that was exactly the missing one! Thank you for sharing
For those who are dealing with the butterfly in the history class area, what helped me was doing the thing with the depulso area and settings, but then exiting to main menu, and from there closing the game, then reopening it, it wasn’t from the first time, I was trying about for 2-3 hours
Jesus christ, I was missing the same quest as you! And the problem was that When I finished her quest [Hyacinth Olivier], no further steps showed up, but you still have to go back and talk to her about having finished what she asked (this is the part missing from the game). Now lvl 40 100% of the challenges finished. Thanks!
Ps5 Stuck with a lumos mirrior down in the Slytherin dungeon, the template cannot be found, even though I changed the graphics settings and saved the game manually and restarted, several times. And yes, i have tried to go in the Depulso 2 room and save and restard the game.
I think they patched the sphinx bug for now cause I saw it there. I do have another minor glitch tho. Where if you revelio on a broom it wont properly show the checkmark on camps that you’ve already taken the trait chest on. They will show as ”medium” sized camps even if it was a small bandit camp.
@@eddiereils4903 Missing 4 quests? make sure you complete all quests in hogwarts, hogsmeade and the world map including the dark arts missions where you don't have to learn the unforgivable curses but you do have to complete the side quests. Alternatively if you have changed the seasons in game and an earlier quest is unavailable, you will be able to find that quest again after the main story missions are all completed. Hope this helps

fix for the moth Hi there i found this on other site worked for me...i took couple tries but it worked... For fellow gamers who faced a bug with a moth not appearing on the plant for this mirror: Go to Depulso 2 room next to the Sphynx Statue and enter it. For PC: Change graphic setting to Ultra, RTX on, on display settings remove DLSS, Rendering resolution 100%, DLAA. For PS5: Change to Fidelity with RTX on Save the game Close the game Run it again Exit the Depulso 2 room It worked for me and some other people too
Near Pippin's Potions shops, I've got different characters "windmilling" on the steps. Happens in other places too, but never as many as near Pippin's. I thought this would have been fixed by now....😅
I did this last night and also completed the depulso 2 puzzle rooms prior to working this out. I tried completing the moth puzzle in the bell tower. I examined the mirror at daytime with lumos, ran to where the moth should be but wasn't there. Entered dupulso room 2 then came out again. Used revelio and the moth was there. When I previously tried at night the moth was not there. This was on the PS5, I didn't adjust any settings.
Hi I am missing the same moth by the sphinx too but on an xbox. When I get to the settings and go to Display options it does not show performance mode. Have you got any ideas how to fix it for me please?
mines the moth by professor figs class though nothings worked but if i load into my 2nd profile and go right there i can get it. but not on the one im trying to get everything on
yeah this is likely due to (as mentioned in the video) that you have found the portrait early in the game and used lumos to spawn the moth and then you have been unable to locate the moth and gone on with other quests. When you have returned later the moth is missing. Try using the depulso room all the way at the bottom of the staircase from prof figs classroom.
It's seems to vary for different players, sometimes they do appear again, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the butterflies aren't there because you walked past them previously but the chest is still there, its just a matter of locating it without the butterflies and using revelio. Sometimes there is no chest. The butterflies and moths inparticular seem to be the single most buggy (no pun intended) part of this game.
Somebody help I started a quest had to leave the house and when I came back the mission is gone but still active I can’t start the mission or any other I don’t want to restart
so your map shows you have every collection chest from the world map, hogsmeade and hogwarts? and you've also got all 12 conjurations from the vivariums and the 13 conjurations from the roaming butterflies? My bet is it will be a butterfly you missed.
@@rangatangstaunchtv2239 yes everything is complete. I checked where butterfly chest are suppose to start guess I'll lookup where they end and hopefully I get lucky
@@michaellee140 Maybe double check the vivariums if you got all the chests and butterflies but the chests, butterflies and vivariums make up 100% of the conjurations so it could possibly be glitched if you have triple checked everything and had no success. I might mention aswell that i found all of my butterflies during in game day time aswell, dont know if that changes anything.
So with my game, i have the Moth issue shown - but I notice when i cast revelio, i can see a moth up and left of the depulso 2 room looks like its in west tower. Maybe the games confused about it?
So I'm having a glitch on the side quest "Mums the word" I can not talk to natty or the mom... the quest isn't even popping up in my quest log :( I have tried. Re-Starting my last save point.. I have tried switching it to night to day I have read all my owl mail.. I have completed Weasley assignment and configuration class that you need to do before it.. And i have even tried re-downloading the game and still isn't working for me :( Anyone else have this problem ? Any suggestions ?
Hey Princess Luvkitty, a few questions. Have you completed all other quests? Have you tried leaving the area the quest is offered to travel to a different area via flu flame and back to see if that helped?
didnt work for mine but you said the mirrors dont count for the Hogwarts field guides is weird cuz the last one i got counted for mine and all i have left is 1 but no moth
Okay so what I meant by them not counting is toward collectibles, so if you are going for a platinum trophy on playstation, missing portrait moths will not hold you back from a platinum trophy as all that is needed is 100% collectibles for the platinum and the moth frames do not give you a collectible, only a field guide page. If you want 100% in game completion then you will need to get all moths, if that makes sense.
I am missing the 1 conjuration chest vivarium panting. I am trying to retrace the butterlfy but I am not seeing it on the map.. My collection quest is 139/140 all is 100% Got all but i am missing one
I did this and it crashed the game, as soon as I got back to the mirror and did lumos yep it froze and had an error message to report, went to change the setting back, same thing.
I'm missing the water fountain flying book collection on the left side of Hogwarts on PS5. I got it but it doesn't recognize it as collected. Literally it's the only thing until I've platinum the game.
I've got 138/140, the butterflies for medium tables are gone in my game and where the place of the chest is supposed to he, is nothing. and the the same for the Thestral Statue. Just these 2 things are keeping me from my platinum trophy 😭
I got the achievement for finishing all the quest but when I we to challenges It says I only done 31/32 I check as you say and I have all of them what can I do ?
It’s weird because I have all the quest and even dough I don’t have the side quest challenge complete maybe it’s because the mi ding your own business from PlayStation?

@@rangatangstaunchtv2239 Collectors Edition trophy. I have everything and all my list are complete except Hogwarts sows I am missing one field guide page, but in my collections list it shows I have them all. I heard you only need like 180 but I have them all and I still didn't get the trophy.
I completed and completed the book collection mission in the library and yet this is the mission I am missing from the list of extras so I am stuck on 31/32
It’s 100% bugged, no fix known yet to my knowledge. I’m stuck at 33/34 field guide pages in bell tower wing, done 4 different guides and got them all. Some people saying it’s the accio page by the dragon/hedge statue thing which people have got but it’s not trigged in game
It seems that the confusion is that there are 2 separate bugs that people have merged into own (in my case) I still have 149 field page guides but the accio pages DO NOT give you conjurations, hence, the bell tower bug is 100% a thing but not related to the 139/140 conjuration, despite me having all collectible chests there was a butterfly that wasn’t done for some reason and I found that after doing one guide
@@rangatangstaunchtv2239 yes I always knew which one was it, I know where the characters are but can't interact, has been reported to WB hopefully they'll come up with a patch soon. The butterfly fix worked for that one but I have another one glitched in the great hall and tried the same, didn't work..at least not a collectible 😖

Sup. Missing 1 Trait. Manipulation 2. I’ve collected all 117 on world map (on every map fyi). Also. Missing 1 Appearance under exploration. Have ashwinder (white n red ) any advice would be cool. Thx ✌️😎
There are 24 traits you unlock through completing challenges which you can view on the challenges screen, there are 50 traits unlocked through exploration which is specifically chests in bandit camps, And one trait is unlocked through a quest. "Manipulation 2 - Imperio target does greatly increased damage" is an exploration trait, so try to go back to all the bandit camps and see if an extra chest is at any of them that you have missed. As for the missing appearances under exploration, there are only 2, "Thiefs Coat" and "Ashwinder Outfit". These appearances are rewarded for completing all of the battle arena challenges around the map. Hope this helped!

@@mythreelife4764 Yeah including the dark arts arena there is 3 arenas total, 1 in north ford bog, 1 in feldcroft and the dark arts arena in the forbidden forest and good luck with the bandit camps, hope you find your chest.
@@rangatangstaunchtv2239 on my main character i did the battle arena that gives the thiefs coat a bunch of times and it is still not appearing in my appearances even though it says im recieving it. Do you know a fix?
I have 139/140 conjurations i have everything in the vivariums, collected all the chest in the game, gone to every butterfly location and nothing. The game got a patch and still nothing.
149 out of 150, revelio pages? The moth portraits dont give collectables so you don't need the moth on the vase for the platinum trophy as explained in the video, only field guide pages for specific locations are needed for conjurations

I reloaded my save file today and I snooped around the tombstone area and finally stumbled onto Ms. Olivier again (without a way point) and finally got to Complete it back just talking to her. I guess this Bug happens if you kill Selwyn before accepting the Side Mission.
