"~mods" for you that needs help making the tilt key. Select the text and then press Ctrl and c att the same time to copy. Press Ctrl and v to paste it.
agreed but you can install some quality of Life mods for example smaller UI, I just started playing i heard the flying sucks so maybe better broom control mod.. When i get my broom will test without the mod and compare..
thank you so much for your help, even I am French, your explication is very clear and simple so I understand directly ! You're the only one that help me ! you're deserve more like and comment ! ❤
The ~ key is not always in the top left next to the 1. That's on the ASCI keyboard layout. On ISO layout, which is used basically everywhere outside of the USA, the ~ key is usually found on the right side of the keyboard. For example on the UK keyboard, its next to enter.
Great video and amazing voice!! Could you please make a tutorial on mod merging? This is required to run multiple mods that are more game-changing. Thanks!
Will you consider making a video that explains how to make a mod for the game? For example I'm a 3D artist and am hoping to make some assets that can be used in game, but don't know how to work the files to plug the assets into it.
Do you have any suggested mods you would use now, or are you waiting to complete the game as is? ** OOPS, just noticed the four mods listed in your video description. *BLUSHING* Thank you! 🤣
Trying to mod and I used the Vortex way but it made the mods folder the way you said, has my mods in and start it up by Vortex but it doesn't seem to work
I've tried everything to get my mods to work, but its just not working. I've made the ~mods folder, I placed the mod PAK files into it, I have even taken a look at previous comments to figure out what's wrong, but to no avail. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong...
Are you using any mods that have an underscore at the start of the mod name? like Z_modnamehere. If so try removing the underscore to see if that fixes it! But make sure you keep the one at the end if it has one!
@@FoodThenGames Well, I tried that, but they still aren't working. I don't know why this isn't working anymore. I followed the instructions to a tee, but still no luck.
Question: Do you NEED to make a ~mods folder? They seem to work just fine by dropping them in the Pak folder. Any specific reason why we're making a new one?
When installing mods I have always been warned not to do multiple folders bc it can make it hard for the game to read it since its deeper on the files. Does that also apply to hogwarts legacy?
All of my mods are in individual folders and I haven't had any issues thus far! I also do the same thing for a few other games (like DA:O and DA2) and have had great success!
It should work the same for epic -- if the mod you're trying to use has an underscore at the front of it's name like Z_modnamehere_P try deleting that first underscore to see if that gets it to work! But make sure you keep one at the end of the mod name if there is one!
We had a patch today so some mods might have been affected by it! To confirm the mod mentioned the Phoenix folder or pak folder for installation? Also if it's a complexion/skintone/makeup mod you'll need to make sure your preset *and* skintone selection are correct or it won't show on exisiting characters!
It should work right away in the CC -- if you pick the right skintone/face for it as I think some work better on particular shapes. I just downloaded the new "natural" version of the makeup mod linked in the vid description and it works fine for me so if you haven't yet maybe test that out to see if that works! OR even better if you've already started playing the game and have a save in Hogwarts try the "beast" mod for the cat as it's a really easy proof of whether the mods are working! That way you'll know if it's a mod problem you might be having or an installation problem!
@@FoodThenGames I don't want to install makeup mode. But anyway when I install the mods and put in "~mods" as mentioned in your video. It doesn't work. Example the mode for unlimited money does not work by putting in "~mods"
Each game tends to have it's own modding method -- you'll need to find an Elden Ring specific tutorial to confirm whether or not this method will work!
If I ever start making mods myself probably -- however the hogwarts modding discord has put out a few tutorials today and I believe they even uploaded one to nexus that might help!
@@FoodThenGames also, i made the mods folder, but even with all the .pak mods in it, it doesnt work when i load into the game, so i switched to the vortex mod thingy, even witht hat the mods wouldnt work for my game. Sad
I'm sorry to hear that! If there's an underscore at the start of the mod name for instance Z_modname try deleting that initial underscore and making it all one word to see if it that fixes it! But don't delete any at the end of the mod file name as the game requires those to work!
I've never modded a game off of epic so I can't help I'm sorry -- your best bet would be to search for how to access/if you can access your game folders.
Apologies for my stupidity I’m a bit of a noob when it comes to mods… I was wondering if it’s safe to install mods into a current save or will that possibly corrupt the game? Is it wiser to install them with a new save?
I've installed them mid playthrough without a problem but if you're almost done with the game or nervous about doing something to corrupt this save file I'd suggest waiting for your next playthrough!
