I know it looks a bit dull but damn! It is a modern day AAA title running on the Switch which is what 8 or 9 year old hardware by now? Simply amazing, and for me, the Switch Lite is better than my Steam Deck as it’s smaller, lighter, quieter, cooler and lasts a lot longer too on games like this. Plus I can shove the Lite in my pocket.
man thanks for buying all of these games : this is insane. i hope this youtube thing is working out. your channel is litteraly one of my main got to channels i also have a switch lite:) so its good to see the real deal some what in front of me of me. i guess it feel diffrent when you actualy hold it and get used to the game and quelity.
@@Batmannames-nq2zq exactly, although I really dont think the shitty port is their fault. The switches hardware is 7 years old (probably more than that because when the switch was first created they used old hardware) so porting a new game with actual 3d graphics is a huge challenge
When you battle group of enemies in the open world it kinda drop fps but not too much but when battling enemies inside a dungeon or a cave, runs smoothly. Also, I am surprised on how well you can ride the broom around the map. You can see things kind of pixelated from afar but that's tolerable. Everything is a good miracle to be honest.
Hi, The game looks really good on the Switch Lite, which I own as well. I am only wondering if the text is big enough to read easily. Also if there are tasks/collections/ spells ect are they easy to read as well? Your thoughts about this topic would help me a lot to decide whether I should buy the game or not🙏.
Text are big enough to read and you can play around with the accessibility settings and the option to high contrast the text so it can be very visible.
it looks still good and it's amazing they could do this for the switch, but the stutters it has are still too much for me to buy it. Which is pretty sad because I have been waiting a long time for this to come out on the switch. Maybe in a future patch they can optimize it further.
@@melkorstormcrown6939 Really isn't. Depends on what you're expecting. If you're expecting something like the Deck's performance... you probably shouldn't be commenting on tech.
@@pblchldy8082 Significant price difference there mate. Considering you can find a Switch Lite pretty commonly for under $100 - that's a hella low buy in for getting into the Switch library.
Much better work with this port tnan witcher 3. Amazing work by those who did this. They know what's the most significant in graphics for eyes of people.
Insane the difference between gaming enthusiasts and casuals, the game devs are very smart to bring this game on the Switch, even if it runs at 15fps HP fans will play it and not know how inferior this version is. Even on the base PS4 the game looks amazing graphically.. but this.. legit somehow looks like a PS2 game with all the downgrades they had to do to get it to run on the Switch. The Switch should have had an upgrade years ago, Nintendo just milking the blind casuals now lol
They honestly should've just hired TellTale to make Lego Hogwarts Legacy and ran that on the deck, then it wouldn't be a complete disgrace to the original.
The fact that can run it on my switch lite seems miraculous to me 😂 I don't game that much so it's cool that I can still play this game without investing thousands on a bigger game console
My opinion is quite different and imo this game looks terrible. I play a lot on switch but I can't stand bluriness in this title. Maybe it looks a bit better on lite, I play on OLED which has a bigger screen. Anyway any Mario title looks better.
Can I play offline the whole game or do I have to connect to wifi eventually to save my progress? Want to buy tomorrow but I do not have wifi so I don't want to spend the money if I cannot play it 🥺
What's up bro, i just finished test the battery life of this game on my Switch Lite, and it last around 3 hours (with 50% of brightness and 100% of volume). Note: My Switch is getting old 😅, so if you have a brand new Switch maybe your result could be better than mine.
