This is such a stark contrast to his delivery of the Collector's edition. I love that he looks and sounds so much more comfortable here, and not as if he's trying to convince himself of what he's saying. The product they've produced matches his words and I'm so so excited for release.

don't be afraid to delay the game if it feels unfinished, devs! it looks fantastic so far, but PLEASE take as long as needed to make it the best it can be. potterheads have waited 20+ years for a full hogwarts rpg, we can wait a little longer for a quality, finished one.

I really like that we can have our own wands. I don’t know how our house or wands are chosen otherwise, like if it were random or if we could customize it, but this really adds to the experience. I wonder how your patronus is chosen in game or if you can’t choose and we all get a special one specifically for the story.

I burst into tears whe I found out I can bring my wand and house over from pottermore (used to be called) I've had that wand for over a decade. Maple 11' Unicorn Hair Rigid :'( I hope the patronuses also come over, my partner and I both have Black Horses, I am the mare he is the stallion. We are both going to play the game.

Guys just do not be scared to take a littlebit more time to complete the game. Announce another delay if necessary. Wizarding World has one of the greatest and nicest communities out there and I am 100 % sure that people wont mind...we just want our own Hogwarts adventure in as many detail and with as little bugs as possible. Thank you for letting us live the wizarding world that we always wanted. Thank you for the game in advance

Let's all agree the entrance to the Slytherin common room is awesome. Also, I know it wasn't mentioned, but I'm still hoping the patronus also carries over (I'll totally understand if it doesn't since there are so many), still really happy with this.

I dont think Patronus will carry over. My two points are: 1) when doing the account linking, you can notice that House and Wand are reqruired to do the linking, but Patronus is not - if you have a brand new account where you've done the other two tests, but never did Patronus, it still works 2) Wizarding World website has 142 patronuses. Developing them all in Legacy would take a lot of work - from modeling, to animations, to AI, and all that. So even if we can cast Expecto Patronum (which is not yet confirmed), I dont expect that many choices to be in the game.

Chandler and the link site only mentioned our house and wand would be transported into the game. So does that mean we won't be learning patronus then?

I think Patronus will still be available in the game, just not transferable from the website. There are 142 patronuses on the website, and it would quite the task to make all of them playable, with the animations and physics and AI and everything.

We got a glimple of the character customization menu in an Autodesc presentation. It was an event for developers / animators in the industry, not for general audiences, and was hosted in a Zoom call. The build of that menu was probably not final. But you can check out a breakdown of it, search "Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Character Creation Menu" by NightlyNerd.

This seems like we can’t have a patronus in the game as it is an option at the wizarding world page. Im a Slytherin, my wand: cedar wood with a unicorn core 14 1/2 and unbending flexibility. My Patronus: beagle

I'm hoping the doors don't actually just automatically open and you have to do a lore accurate entry method every time. Remember the current passwords for Gryffindor and Syltherin, answer a question for Ravenclaw, and the hufflepuff knock.

I hoped I will be Ravenclaw but after around 10 attemps of house selection the Hufflepuff was the most numerous one (Ravenclaw was distant second) so I guess I'll be that. I least I'll have cozy room.

i just have one question, if my house of my WW account is different to the one i pick in game (My account says slytherin but i got ravenclaw on another account) would that change the exclusives? or affect anything if you were to pick a different house on another playthrough? That and will be able able to select different wand/patronus options for different playthroughs or are they locked in if we linked our accounts?

Chandler has confirmed that, even if you do the linking, you are NOT locked into your Wizarding World account settings, and can still freely pick. I'm guessing there's only one "Fan-tastic Robe" item, and it will simply change its color depending on the house you pick. Don't think you can have multiple of them in the same playthrough.
