I think its compatible with all the Chinese manufacturers. I personaly tried it with Redmi note 7 but with my samsung a52 its not working :/

Hi, Thanks for a superb channel! I’m a beginner in editing videos shot with my GoPro 7 hero and is about to buy my first gimbal. I’ve watched several reviews on different ones and is still not sure on wich one to buy. My budget stretches to the feiyu-tech g6 wich seems to be a good alternative but comes with some unwanted motor noise. Given the budget, the best stabilization and the unwanted motor noise - wich of the different gimbals on the market would you recommend? Best regards Erik, Sweden

I received my iSteady Pro 3 the other day and I love it. I use it with my GoPro Hero 8, which fits perfectly, and am able to take smooth, cinematic videos. Kind of taking the GoPro into a whole different level of video shooting. Also, I can leave the GoPro attached to the Pro 3 and it fits inside the Pro 3 case.

I have this device with gopro 6. There is a big problem. Electric motors make strange noises in the records. It is horrible. I email with the servis but tey are not verry helpful. I send them record to check but they replyied that it is not due to motors, but they did not check the devise.

with the "2" and osmo action the motion time lapse is so frustrating, it would lockup everytime, then you would have to restart the app and gimbal and then it would work

This gimbal is great... But one thing these RU-vidr`s will never tell you is that there is no way you can connect the USB/C cable to be able to control the Video/Photo functions of the Hero 8 with the gimbal. Right Reha? You forgot to mention that dude.

In the all lock mode, the none of the axis really is locked. It's still moving towards stupid directions? How can i fix this? Also when vlogging, i can't suddenly change it to my face. Upgrade version is also not seen on the app. Can anyone help with above issues?

Is there a version of this that I can get for an iPhone X or 13, or could I detach the top of it that holds the GoPro and put on a holder that would fit those phones with it still doing the same things with wifi control / virtual joystick? I’m disabled and can only move my head, so the app features that come with this one would be helpful.

I purchased it yesterday. So do you mean even if I connected the charge cable on the top (not bottom), my gopro8 won't be charged while operating?

You can put the gopro upside-down with ports of the hero 8 on the "outside" and calibrate that way. I use it that way and i can charge it while using it

Thanx for the video. I have a question. I realize that the iSteady 4 has fast charging to external device (serving as a power bank) uning USB-C. Do you know if the iSteady 3 has the same USB-C capabilities (since I own an Osmo Action, I don't necessarily need to buy the more expensive iSteady 4, which I hear is identical to the 3, except for the support for the Hero 10). Because if the iSteady 3 doesn't have a USB-C connection, that is a big con against buying it and getting the iSteady 4. Thanx again.

Don't buy it. Electric motors makes strange background noise (due to micro vibration) on the video. Servis stopped responding my requests.

Love this gimbal. With my Redmi Note 7 it used to work flawless. But since i switched to a Samsung A52 i cant connect the gimbal with the phone. With my redmi still no problem. I've contacted Hohem but they have no clue what is going on. My A52s bluetooth working with everything else and im sure ive granted access to GPS. If you have any info about that please share with us

Nice one mate. Probably the most useful Hohem Pro 3 tutorial out there. I just got this model (should have got the Pro4, maybe next time) and your video is very handy. You've made it much easier for new gimbal users to handle this thing. I'm still not sure about it but I've got 30 days to send it back if it's not for me. I agree though that the gimbal footage is pretty stable. Cheers and subscribed 👍

Sometimes it goes beserk, and turns the camera towards the tilt axel. Sometimes it goes to "massage mode" that it obviously tries to do something, but the motor does not find the traction to turn it. (And no, it is not that the 600 degrees limit was met; it is just sometimes whn you hold it to downwards in a certain angle; about 45 degrees.)

A warning to non go pro camera users, this gimbal stick remote control function cannot connect to the gimbal stick thru the wifi, the wifi only work for gopro models.. the description that it is compatible with other action camera is misleading, it only mean u mean fix your action camera to the isteady 3 pro but you haver to manual use the function on the camera, the stick only for u to control the 3 axis gimbal stick that all!

Another video shows that if you place the lens on the inside exposing the power side you can use the power cable to charge from the Gimbal, I tried that and even though it works the Gimbal becomes disoriented up and down, self corrects and rendering it non functioning. Let me know if you know how to do it properly. I just bought mine and I think its great except for that problem. The right hand screen icons are also hard to touch so I moved mine over a bit and that helps even though the instructions tell you to snug your camera all the way.
