The new "Man the Guns" expansion introduced several new national focus paths for the United Kingdom. In this series, we will be playing a non-aligned alternate history route where King Edward VIII never abdicates during the 1936 constitutional crisis. Of course, there will be consequences for this decision...

That's isn't the English flag, it's the Royal Standard. The english flag is the red cross on white.

@@deadchannel1880 Actually the St. George's flag was adopted from 1245 (during the reign of Henry III), the flag depicted for the Non-Aligned UK is the modern Royal Standard (adopted in 1837 after the termination of the Personal Union between the United Kingdom and the then-Kingdom of Hanover)

From what I've seen, you have that 10000 production limit in ship design due to to the treaty that Japan and Italy(?) left. The idea is that superships are very dangerous, though expensive. As long as no one makes them it's fine, once your enemies start having them you curse yourself for not ditching the treaty and making your own.

Pravus, the Marriage is a timed event which you can monitor from the Political Actions tab in the decisions, it takes about 300ish days to fully complete. Until it finishes you'll be spammed by events based on an rng generator, the 2 decisions on the type of marriage at the beginning are just to let you jump-start the non-aligned support sooner

11:41 After Pakistan got their independence from India in 1947, they took that land in the west of India that is now Bangladesh. Bangladesh was Pakistani territory before 1971 when India helped the Bangladeshi people win their independence.

When you go for the "Support colonial loyalist" focus, immediately go for the subsequent focus. It will give you a decision to make the non-aligned partner in the civil war your puppet (otherwise they tend to join random factions).

It seemed the wedding fired either when Jan. 1st 1937 came, or when the unaligned became the majority compared to the other parties. I noticed it was Conservative 38 and unaligned 38 so maybe.

*13:00* That flag is known as the "Royal Standard" and is basically the flag representing the royal family. It is flown over Buckingham Palace when the British Monarch is residing within, contrary to the Union Jack that is flown over Buckingham Palace usually. There are actually two versions, one that is generally used in England, Wales and Northern Ireland as well as overseas territories and one that is used exclusively in Scotland. This Royal Standard in the video is the one used in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and overseas.

21:45 There was actually no legal way to do this at that point. This was a big problem in the early 80s, as Trudeau SR. wanted to update the constitution, but had no way to do it. This was one of the main reasons for the Constitution Act of 1982. It was the Queen transferring constitutional powers to the Canadian government.

In 1947 India was split in two states when the Indian Muslims wanted their own stae those Creating Pakistan what was Now Bangladesh had a large muslim Population and Joined Pakistan as East Pakistan. in 1971 their was a Civilwar in Pakistan and EastPakistan Won its indepencence as Bangladesh.

Not a particularly likely alt history. In the event of the monarch and parliment coming to an impass there's no way the King would come out on top. The English civil war kind of showed what happenes the last time a King of England tried to defy parliment. (they chopped his head off). Still, I suppose it makes as much sense as being able to take over the world as Belgium! :D

Pakistan had land in Bangladesh because that area is also populated by majority Muslims. Historically Pakistan actually owned that land after Britain left before it became Bangladesh
