RU-vidr: right clicks capital with a couple divisions: wins every battle in 15 days. Me: Attacks 1 division of ethiopians with 11 divisions of tanks and alpines with full supply and planning: battle drags on for months, at some point my armies stop attacking, apparently having lost all organization? wtf?
Nice dude! This was really helpful. A lot of my wars just ended up in stalemates because I was too cautious and then the war would grind on for a year or 2 and waste my much needed manpower. So thank a lot!
I'm a little late but as a very new HOI4 player, I tried this strat, and it worked like a charm, though it took a bit as some Ethiopans took bits of Eritrea and liberated their capital
well. I employed this tactic against Yugoslavia and Ethiopia at the same time. for some reason it nearly failed in Ethiopia but worked like a charm in Yugoslavia
i only have 150 hours, and ive played italy twice and i just went in from the spot near french somaliland and take there vps from there, i got it on march 29 so yea
what? why is this a thing, does no one else just assign the best generals, gather the entirety of the military there and press go, does that not end it by february?
Its not a tutorial on how to beat Ethiopia, its a tutorial on how to beat them quickly as to maximize conquest in the balkans, making it very viable for multiplayer italy.
well, when there's basically no tutorial on a very complex game, it's kinda hard to figure out what you're supposed to do. most new hoi4 players don't have war general experience.
@@mithyc4123 not at all viable for multiplayer since you definitely need the grind for your generals and doctrine you must also bypass the logistics focus
@@pcgaming7680 This tutorial is now defunct, before the new doctrine system it was viable and this was also prior to the update that made France start with guarantees on Yugoslavia
