When I hear Scott talk I hear accountability, leadership, recognition, team effort, and logic. At the end of the day that in itself (let alone how hard the kids have played) speaks volumes as to where this program is heading and will achieve in the coming years.
Well, you can't say he's a winner yet, he's 0n2, and on the verge of maybe being 0n8 with the schedule coming up.... so far it's just talk talk talk and not seeing results on the field.... I think his mistake was bringing most of the coaching staff with him from UCF instead of building an elite coaching staff.... :-/

Since coming into coaching he has had great success at every place he has been and again on Both sides of the ball. What he did at UCF was nothing short of phenomenal! Frost and crew have all the tools and characteristics to be an elite staff. This team will be great. But it's not the AAC this time, it's the Big 10. This year will be rough. But good things are coming. Keep the Faith.

Losing to Troy is a hard one, no excuses. BUT! We need to give coach frost time. I hate to say but Bunch was not good today, very very sloppy but what do you expect! Third string to first string, first game ever! I see a lot of improvement from this team, we will have a rough year but we will be a much better team next year!

Well from this Fan, I'm in it for the long haul. I believe in this coach almost as much as I believed in Coach Osborne. It is heartbreaking dealing with two losses like these, but we are playing better than we have in the past, granted like coach says "we have to fix little things" but we will get there again "winning" we have to support our team as best that we can. He inherited a 4-8 team and no experienced QB’s and a team that never worked out hard and on top of that half the team is new players. He needs time it just looks bad now but i feel confident it will change.
Scott Frost is the man for the job. Culture doesn't change overnight. This 0-2 team is way better than anything Riley or (full season) pellini put together. I'm excited for the program. It's just dark before it's light.

No need to worry..... Coach Frost has a lot to be proud of in these kids. They are fighting hard and you can see it on the field. Those screen plays!! We were never able to pull that off last year... this offense is headed in the right direction... The defense did good they just got tricked a few times especially when Troy motioned right and then went up the middle for a TD.. The interceptions from a 3rd string qb is allowable he will fix that... we gotta team!! We gotta hell of a team!! Watch out Wolverines

Failure to execute basic fundamentals are what's killing our drives. Yes, interceptions are to be expected. Bunch is young. But fumbles, penalties, and poor special teams play is unacceptable! If we clean that shit up, we're good.
I'm sure there's alot of frustration in the tailgate lots after the game where the beer is flowing (Star/INS lot 7 and Matt lot 18). Would be good to hear from the tailgate lot folks who went to the game. How do they feel?
There will be improvements coming up and the penalties got the best of us. We have played Troy several times in the past and beat them bad. It seems like when we play bad teams we always seem to help them get better. We sometimes end up getting it handed to us. We also have a young team and the next 3 years it will get better give him and the players time. I hear what he is saying about you play hard or if you don't have it get out. I believe we can change the players way of thinking and make them focus on their jobs we can only push them so far Go Big Red !!!!!
To me,it comes down to this,making stupid penalties that push you backwards,making bad play calls like getting good yards and moving the ball by running and then 3 straight pass plays 3 straight incompletions and then you are stopped and have to punt,as well as no matter how difficult it's been and you're behind,it's the 4th quarter you can still win,you have to want it more than the other team does,which means you make plays,you have the mindset you're not going to be denied a victory and you do what it takes to get that win.Remember if they don't run that punt back for a touchdown we probably win the game just barely.So if the coaches and players can all get on the same page,we'll be fine.It comes down to how bad do you want to win,right now it looks like not bad enough since the play calls aren't the right plays based on what has been working,and the players,well they can't play stupid and keep getting 10 and 15 yard penalties.These are the things that have to change,and I do think that they will.They are learning this the hard way unfortunately.
It's about young talent in a lot of positions which naturally leads to mistakes early in the season. It is also about learning how to win during crunch time and that is much more than X's and O's. As far as play calling, he is calling what he needs and expecting them to learn how to get it done, I don't know your resume but I know his, I'll go with his play calling. It's going to be a tough year but we will have our high points, we will surprise a few teams yet, just keep a positive but patient outlook.

Before I get to what I’m going to say I think frost is a solid football coach and will do a good job at Nebraska. This isn’t going to be easy for him Nebraska is not anywhere near what they were in the 70’s 80’s and 90’s it’s not a destination for kids anymore. The big 10 isn’t as strong as people thought it mite be this year to this point but the people who thought frost could just walk in and immediately make Nebraska relevant and a contender this should be a huge slap in the face back to reality they’re a long way away from that will they get there under frost idk they could. The best thing he has going for him is that the fan base for once is behind a coach they’re willing to blindly look the other way on things that he does that they didn’t for other coaches the last 15 years. It will be a long process and it won’t be as easy as it was to win games here.
Today is another huge slap in the face of the reality of where the program is at. They got absolutely hammered by michigan in every aspect of the game.
I was at the game today, our defense kept us in this game. To many 3rd and longs given up tho. Other than that, the O line needs to step the fuck up. I love husker football, and stand behind our couch, and this team. No matter the wins or losses. there is certainly going to be a learning curve, going form the previous staffs schemes, and what not. No excuses. Day by Day...#GBR.

I respect Nebraska and Frost but, the B1G West took it on the chin! They should even out the divisions to make them more equal. The discrepancy in talent and results are almost embarrassing. I don't see a B1G champ coming out of the West in some time.

he played well...the pass protection was pretty bad on drop backs...and Bunch took a ton of shots...if you watched the game over and actually focused on him you would see that he only missed a few passes. Even his INT was on the money but the defender pushed our weak ass wr out of the way for the ball. The one thing that bothered me was he got wrecked on the 2nd to last play on offense and had his shoulder pads all out of wack...and no player came to fix his shit...he then throws an INT. And the INT was likely a missed rout by the same wr who wouldn't fight earlier for the other pick. There were two pass catchers in the same spot. This team plays like they expect to lose...5 straight home losses coming into this one has to play with their heads. As 3rd string qbs go he is probably the best we have ever had.
He was a walk on for a reason. This offense only shines with a dynamic athlete under center. None of the coaching staff will be replaced. This will be all the same coaches three or four years down the road when we are in the title hunt.

they were 11-2 last year, won at LSU...we were 4-8 with wins over some of the worst teams in college football. The N on the helmet means nothing at this point, this is a complete rebuild from bottom-up...MR left literally nothing in the cupboard. Our main contributors are nearly all new players who were brought in with 6 weeks to recruit...we should have been 5-7 point underdogs with Bunch at QB, and that is what happened.

M-washington was the only dude who could beat anyone 1 on 1 and he is a true frosh. Frost is bringing in some talent but it is going to be a while.
