The only issue I see, is the argument about whether it is fair or not to use one. At least in any competitions and such due to the advantages over others

@@RGBeanie good point. I think it teeters on the edge of just finicky enough that its still fair. Since you do have to find those cups before you can use a rifle.

It obscures parts of the controller though. Protube is better for tracking.

The tracking shouldn't be effected at all using the Vive Rifle. as long as 3 sensors are visible on each controller the system will be fine. for this reason only occlusion/redundancy would be effected but due to the nature of the way the magnetic disks are held. I don't think it would be a problem. The Vive rifle only covers 4 sensors on the inside of the tracking disk out of a total of 22.

lol yea... me too. sadly you need to be alive to use a weapon of any kind. This seems to be a problem for me in onward.

Playing operations (players vs bots) and in hunt mode on the downfall map lets you practice sniping on moving targets quite risk free. If you put them of veteran difficulty you better damn hit that first shot though or you might get a bullet in the head from across the map ;D

Yep, the controller cups are available for all of the headsets out now. MixedRealityTV did a video showing it with the Windows MR headset controllers.

Laundry baskets hard to inject in fun new ways. Green screen is great, but kinda limits my options for basket placement in the ways I liked i.e. under my couch or in my fire place :P
