This video walks you step-by-step through the Tissue-Dyed Silk Scarf project in our Holiday Crafts Kit.
Use kid-safe tissue paper to dye a beautiful silk scarf. Layout your scarf on a piece of cardboard or paper grocery bag. Spray to dampen with a mixture of 50% household vinegar (not included) and 50% water. Tear or cut the colored tissue paper into pieces and lay on the damp fabric. Spray more vinegar water on top until fully saturated. Let sit for 5 minutes. Then cover with aluminum foil and iron with a household iron until the tissue paper is dry. Give the scarf an additional iron until the fabric is dry and your project is complete.
