Frank Harris You should have added more liquid. It’s like making water ganache if a tiny bit of water gets in it will seize. But, if you add more water it smooths out again. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-46t9wupwogg.html
Frank Harris ...and this videos comment section has recipes using alcohol. You can replace all the water with alcohol. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z8gTGmf-sKE.html
The ones I have done with almond bark do not melt well in the warm milk. I was going to use candy melts, but have seen where they do not taste very chocolate. Are you using Merckins?
Thank you! I made it out of parchment paper...cut out a triangle and wrap it around itself into a cone. I believe I showed how to make it in my chocolate truffle birthday cake video :)
Thank you for all of your hot choco bomb recipes. They are really creative. I love that you put ganache in it. Honestly every recipe i saw just put cacao or instant powder and some marshmellows and call it a day.
Thank you so much I enjoyed watching your 🎥 from Gretna, Louisiana happy holidays to you and your business 2021 Peace and Blessings in 2022 Happy New Year
These are ALL beautiful! The ornament was such a cute idea and the marble one is very pretty to look at. I have got to get one of those molds! I'm sure my granddaughters would love these!!! :-). Enjoying your video's, looking forward to the next one. Will you add the link to where you got your mold. Thanks
Thank you!! 😊 I actually got my mold years ago from a local shop so I don’t have a link, but I checked on Amazon and there are quite a few on there (search for hot chocolate bomb mold). Hope that helps!
You make really amazing HCBs. I'm planning to try and make all of those soon! My family will definitely love them! Thanks for sharing your wonderful and unique recipes and ideas! ☺💕
Have you ever made edible fruit bombs lemon meringue pie, or key lime pie, bombs that you eat this is not made for hot chocolate using white chocolate bark for your bombs and just feel them up with cool lemon curd filling, and with your cream cheese mixture, and cool key lime filling and cream cheese mixture and with graham cracker crumbs on the inside, and on the outside of the lemon meringue bombs, drizzle the lemon meringue bombs with lemon drizzle, and on key lime bombs drizzle the key lime bombs with lime drizzle
@@Areesa if your gonna make a list of items needs. You should make an amazon page. I think you get a portion of the whatever people buy and the proce pf the product doesnt increase either. It would be a nice way for viewers to help you out.
I love them all !!! My mom enjoys egg nog so I think I’m most excited to try that one maybe as a gift to her. The peppermint one was my favorite though !
Hola está super hermosas, pero alguien podría ayudarme no se ingles y no logró saber que es lo que utiliza para colorear de rojo el chocolate blanco para las de menta, si me pudieran ayudar se los agradeceré bendiciones y felices fiestas
Thank you! Sure! I’m assuming you mean the eggnog recipe? It’s 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 cup whipping cream, 2 egg yolks, 1.5 tbsp sugar, and cinnamon & nutmeg to taste. Hope that helps!
@@redvanillamama6892 as someone who has done a lot of custards and ganaches, all of these have to be refrigerated. Up to a week should be okay. She also answered another comment to this effect in her other video.
Hi! Either the room is too warm or it’s the type of chocolate you used. Make sure it’s either compound chocolate, candy melts, or properly tempered chocolate. Hope that helps!
They need to be refrigerated...the peppermint one should last about a week, the other two only a few days. I also posted a salted caramel bomb which will last for a week in the fridge as well, so that's another good option for gift giving :)
They need to be refrigerated...the peppermint one should last about a week and the other two for a few days. I just posted a video with some shelf stable/non-refrigerated hot chocolate mixes you can put inside instead! 😊
So I have a question, you are using cream and eggs in these bombs. Wouldn't they need to be refrigerated after they are made so these ingredients wouldn't go bad?
I loved them all. I bake and candy make myself. However you kept this sweet and simple yet beautiful and elegant. I am looking for things to make with my sons gfs daughters that they will love!! they will be impressed and proud to show these off!!!
What size is the silicone sphere sheet you are using? Can you please send me the link on where to get them? Thank you for sharing. I have never tried this before but you inspired me to try.
@@Areesa Omg.... thank you for replying. I really appreciate that. I was also hoping to try to make snow globes with the outside part. Would you happen to know how to do that and place them on top of a cupcake? I’m also wondering if this size would be big enough to go on top of a regular size cupcake with the frosting inside of it.
Hello Areesa, I just saw this video yesterday and was floored. What an Awesome idea! I had heard of these before but didn’t know what they were. I do have a couple questions for you tho. When you said to use Cocoa, are you talking about a powdered mix like Swiss-miss? Also how much would you use of the mix? Also, what is the amount of Milk you put in the mug? Do these need to be refrigerated after making? And when I tried melting the Candy Melts, they didn’t melt well at all. They clumped up and the tiny bit that did melt was thick and lumpy. I added some Butter but it still didn’t melt right. I have had this happen several times. I have tried melting in the Microwave, on the stovetop and double boiler with just a little water simmering over low heat and it was a waste of money. Can I use the real Coveture Chocolate to make the shells or do I need something heavier to set up? I want to make these for belated Christmas Gifts. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong with the Compound Chocolate cuz right now, I am frustrated with it. I tried it in the Wilton melting pot again, with no success. And one last question, can you use any kind of Liquor inside the bombs? I think the Kailua would be Awesome. Thanks for the info and video. I love making things for gifts to family and friends even if they are late. I just want them to look nice and shiny. Merry Christmas, JilliBean
Thank you! I used (unsweetened) cocoa powder for this, I find the mix too sweet with the add-ins. I used around 12oz of milk for each. Yes they need to be refrigerated. I use compound chocolate, not candy melts...I find a big difference in taste and consistency so stick to that (it's also called melting wafers). If you use couverture chocolate it'll taste great, but you'll need to temper it first. I haven't tried it with liquor but I don't see why not! Hope that helps :)
Great tip using the ice cube mould for the top I was going to make my own mould from a bauble But would probably not get round to it in in but going to pinch your idea for now 🤣 And the best tutorial I’ve seen no faff just easy Peasy instructions X
I used Callebaut chocolate, as with any couverture chocolate it is on the more expensive side. You can replace it with a good quality chocolate bar if you prefer :)
I’m stuck at home with Covid-19. 😢 I hope the worst of it is over for me so I’m ordering groceries today and having them delivered so I can make these. My granddaughter told me about your TikTok videos! Thank you! ❤️
Funny thing is it's so old that it wasn't clear when I got it 😂. I think it's from Ross or Marshalls, I got it like 10 years ago and the print came off the back from using it so much!
I love these and plan to make some for Christmas gifts. Can you tell me what kind of white chocolate you use (as well as the dark and milk) that is the great big block that you are cutting to make the ganache. Thank you! I am a new subscriber.
Hi i have a couple questions. 1. How would you keep these. I assume since their custard/ganache that it might need to be kept in the fridge. 2. if giving them as a gift how long do you think these would last? a week?
Hello! These are Beautiful 🤩! I am new to your channel and very inexperienced with using silicone. Is there a specific type of silicone that I would need for these? Or is all silicone usable for these bombs?
Areesa you are so talented! I have made about 20 cocoa bombs so far and I was looking for tips. You have some great tips, as well as very creative designs! And, you make it look effortless even with your pretty nails! I have to step up my game! Thank you for sharing this video.
I love your voice! It's so clear and easy to understand without that vocal fry so many women think is necessary. 🙄 Your recipes are so easy and delicious! I can't wait to make these for friends and family! Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Oh I actually thought RU-vid did that automatically, I will definitely look into it. For now the recipes are just in the videos, I put them in the description for my last video and will continue to do that for future videos! 😊
Are you using compound chocolate? Check out the video I posted before this one for some tips and tricks, but a couple things to try...after melting the chocolate let it sit for a few minutes so that it cools down, that will create a thicker layer. Another option is to add a second layer of chocolate. Hope that helps! 😊
@@Areesa Yes I am making them now with Ghiradelli Chocolate and I can tell already that it is making a difference. Thank you so much!! Loved your video!!
These are amazing. I was actually a little sad to see you drop the ornament in the milk - it was too pretty to melt. :) For the marbling - did you just create a red chocolate that you swirled in? I wasn't following that part and didn't know if that happened somehow with the peppermint. Sorry - such a newbie I feel like that is an elementary question. Looking forward to the ones you post this weekend with a longer shelf life so I can comfortably gift them!
Thank you! No worries at all...for the red swirl I used red candy melts and just placed a few spoonfuls randomly in the white chocolate, then swirled them together before pouring it into the mold 😊
Thank you!! Definitely! I might not get a chance to make a full YT video on it, but if you comment this on one of my TikToks I’ll try to do it on there!! :)
