I find it so interesting that "warmer" climate areas want a holiday look option, where i come from a cold holiday location and every year I try to find something warm to dress in but always feel like the clothing options are so "LA" based. Like who wears a crop top sweater or a loose knit. Doesn't the clothing market know it gets waay below zero. But very happy that Ingrid showed an example and is considerate to all of us in all of our climates.

This is such a better idea than OOTDs and "what I work in a week: holiday edition" because its so practical. Thanksgiving and Christmas where I am is usually warmer. Jeans and a neutral t-shirt and a brown cardigan is my thanksgiving go to. On Christmas I have Christmas-y print sweatshirts and long sleeve shirts to be in the spirit without wanting to die. Add some boots and a beanie (and holiday makeup - that Christmas red lip changes everything) and theres not a lot where you can go wrong

Pro tip for layering leggings or skinny jeans without the bottom layer getting all scrunched up: put the leggings into the outer layer, then step into both at the same time. Also keeps you from having a saggy crotch because the outer layer isn't fully seated

Honestly so many of the items on threadup are over priced! If I can get a brand new item from the J. Crew store (Yes, on sale--J. Crew has sales ALL the time!) for less money than I can get a similar item from several seasons ago on threadup something is wrong. Don't get me wrong I'm all about sustainability, but you've gotta have a model that works. Go to your local thrift store!! It's way cheaper and all the gasoline pollution doesn't go out into the environment from shipping the item from threadup to wherever you live!

I know it was second hand so you weren't directly supporting the company. But LuLaRoe is an incredibly problematic and corrupt multi-level marketing scheme that preys specifically on women.

I stg every time I've looked at thredup, I only see outdated, wrinkled items with overinflated "before" prices and very little selection for larger sizes. Also awful reviews for those who have sold their clothes to thredup. Not impressed, I'll stick with thrifting in person!

I am sure if people had asked her for church suggestions she would have obliged. The dress option would be appropriate. I'm also sure if people are celebrating and having dinner Church might potentially be in the cards as well, don't you think? Plus there are 30 holidays between now and January they have nothing to do with the Christian religion. Not everybody celebrates the same way as you. Ingrid wasn't just talking about Christmas she was talking about the holidays. I'm sorry if you felt upset are you felt some way left out, but your comment is very presumptuous in regards to what her video is about and what it is actually about. Just food for thought.
