Neat!!! My mom ATILL has the 150(?) string lights I grew up with... “first” color was pink, yellow, blue, red, gold and green in clumps not variety (all of one color then so on). We had 2 C9 (big bulbs) that was wound around the wrought iron divider that “separated” the entry and the living room... then a string woven into the wrought iron door and a string wound around the support pole for the “ porch”. Chris and I were of the mind... go big or go home with decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Now I’m getting back into the swing of things... So many new light gadgets etc... several homes in our home city were paired with radio stations which the lights were set to.
I bought these Christmas lights from target or home depot about 14.00 dollars. really good lights, too. unfortunately this year for some reason target or any other stories where I normally buy them at was not selling them this year. I wonder why.
I just bought some multi function lights that also don't work together with other strands. It seems odd that in 2021 any lights would be sold like that.
My husband hangs the lights so I actually had no clue they didn’t tether. I didn’t think about seeing if they did during the review bec it never occurred to me that they wouldn’t. We bought two more boxes this year and my hubby said we needed more extension cords and I asked why and he said they didn’t tether. I was like 😮. I’m sorry you found out after buying them. I really had no clue until a few weeks ago myself. I will change the description to reflect the fact they don’t tether I’m guessing they don’t tether because they are 16 functions and you can change them unlike the icicles that can tether because the function is built-in
@@babygoth13 Ikr it was the same in Home Depot & Hobby Lobby. Glad I knew from the first error to check before purchasing. Sucks bc we love the multi function lights😫

From my understanding, Walmart stopped carrying the incandescent version so I found the LAST set on Amazon for 35$ >.> I hate LED because they flicker :(
Solid is not a function on this. If you want just solid lights you could spend a lot less money and get solid lights these are specifically made for movement
That probably means one of the blue bulbs is blown that happened to us and we replaced the bulb because if one of them blows it affects the entire strand of that color so I would start checking the blue bulbs. Get a new bulb it should have come with a couple extra bulbs and just unplug each one at a time first to make sure there’s not a bulb missing and then just unplug one blue one at a time and put the new one in and see if it turns them on and just go down the strand like that it will be a pain but it’ll be worth it if you find the one that’s out
