HOLINESS: Its Meaning and Relevance Today - Rabbi Michael Skobac
There are many words that are in common use, but whose meaning is not entirely clear. One such word is 'spirituality' - but there is no clear Hebrew word for this in the Bible. However, the scriptures often use the words 'holy' and 'holiness'. What exactly do these terms mean?
In this video Rabbi Michael Skobac explores this question and looks at a number of things that are designated as holy and seeks to understand the meaning and significance of the concept of holiness.
The Torah actually commands us to be holy, and we discuss in this presentation how it is possible for people to accomplish this.
