We were lucky enough to sail around Australia on the Noordam. What a beautiful ship, awesome crew and amazing food. We missed her the day we got off. 😊 Thanks for your video as it brought back some great memories.
I wish I had had a tour like this before embarking on my Holland America cruise a couple of months ago (a present from a friend who wanted a travelling companion). It was a very well run cruise. But having never cruised before, it was day 12 into my 15 day cruise before I discovered the Rolling Stones Lounge - the only entertainment venue that I really liked with its live music and dancing (being a bit younger than the average guest, bingo nights and trivia nights werent really my thing). I never found the gym, and while I saw these different settings, I didnt know the purpose of each of them. They were just places I wandered through - had I known what they were used for, I would have stayed to experience what they had to offer. I discovered the beautiful shops about day 10 and had heard of a walking deck but never found it. Although I had the top drinks package, I never dared buy anything in any of the other coffee shops or bars as I wasnt sure whether they incurred extra charges or not and I didnt want to charge up expenses to my kind travelling companion who had paid for the trip. My friend wants to take another cruise next year with me, and this tour has been enormously helpful - I feel I can enjoy everything the cruise has to offer next time. THANK YOU.
