Today is a lazy sea-day...we'll watch the City at Sea presentation and attend the Buenos Aires port talk. The port talk has us leery of walking around the city on our own, so we'll need to book a private tour at the pier. Hopefully some are available!

I’m now a bit worried about my arrival in Buenos Aires. I’m supposed to arrive just after midnight Dec 14 and I’m supposed to stay at an airport hotel that is 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel offers a 24/7 shuttle so I’ll take it and hope I won’t be mugged outside the airport while waiting for the shuttle. I’m uneasy about taking a taxi or Uber at that time of morning as I’ll be on my own. Embarkation is on Dec 15 and I’ve purchased a transfer with HAL but I’ll have to return to the airport to get on the transfer. I’ll be staying at that hotel and not venturing out for walks the day before embarkation. Thanks for sharing this very important safety tip.

This is a very interesting video. The briefing about the Buenos Aires port is extremely helpful. Sounds like a good idea to stick with HAL tours in BA, then book a direct transfer to the airport on that last day.

Yes...After the port talk, we were afraid to go walking on our own. We did purchase a tour from locals within the cruise terminal the day before the last day....and we took the HAL transfer to the airport.
