Another reason I use Closed Loop Compensation Limits is if for any chance the O2 sensor goes nuts it won't over lean or rich the engine so I can make it home.. Thanks again Devin, really enjoy the content... 👍

certainly a wise thing to do once you get the fuel map ironed out

Can you do a video on how to set up the internal data logger?

Hey Dev. Seems like your last 2 videos have kinda scratchy sound. New Mic?

This really doesnt pertain to this video but... do you know if there is a way to view raw sensor voltage? I'd like to be able to calibrate my own transducers without having to back probe the connector. Im using a dominator with V6 220. Thanks for the videos!

It does not

yes, set up your custom input to just 5 volt and scale it 0-5 then go online with ecu, bring up dash panel and view your voltage

@@theholleyefiguy Not sure why I didnt think of that, but thats why I asked. Thanks again!

you mentioned an old video about when you want to be in closed loop and not. I was looking for it, but the search doesn't give any results with closed loop in the title. Any help locating it would be extremely helpful. I'm worrying about using a cam with a lot of overlap (tight LSA) that won't let me use closed loop anywhere near idle and how to deal with it.
@kevin_nagle
@kevin_nagle Год назад
if your fuel map is close then you shouldn't need closed loop at idle... you really shouldn't need closed loop at all if your fuel table is close. Are you saying it wont go into closed loop at idle right now? or you're worried that it wont allow you to go into closed loop?
@ItsA68
@ItsA68 Год назад
@@kevin_nagle worried about being able to not use closed loop at idle due to overlap with reversion, with bad MAP and O2 feedback at low engine speeds/loads. As long as it's possible to tune without closed loop which I'm thinking it must be, then I guess I'm worried about nothing.
@kevin_nagle

@@ItsA68 yes, adjusting the fuel map while engine is idling would be "tuning" without closed loop. just do what Devin showed by either having closed loop not come on until a certain RPM above idle or have the CL Correction 0% up until a certain RPM above idle. Basically what we do with turbo cars with a 5" diameter down pipe that's only a foot or 20" or so.... again, as Devin mentioned: "If the o2 sensor is just hanging out in the atmosphere..." you don't want to be using closed loop until the rpm comes up and exhaust starts flowing through the down pipe and passed the sensor.
