HI, long time follower. Love your reviews. I'm really impressed with Mike's evolution as a taster and his candor. Tom, I've learned a lot from you and I respect your palette, but you DO interrupt Mike all the time. Nevertheless, content is great and getting better. Please keep plugging away!

The distillery is not too far from the Kansas City airport. A good place to hit up if you happen to go there. Might as well throw in the wheater king OWA as a comp. Cheers!

Red Wheat is used because it has a stronger wheat flavor. It's called Red Wheat because the husks are reddish in color (obviously).

Out of their line up this is my favorite. I'm trying to get the Rickhouse version. The bourbon is good but this is just a tad better in my opinion. It's funny how many comment on this being a screw top and I just couldn't care less its just good. You will have to get a Rickhouse version. Great review guys. Enjoy!!

Such a solid pour for a craft distillery. I'd blind: BH SRW, Southern Star Paragon, Makers 46, Larceny (Barrel Proof?) and Rebel Small Batch Reserve.

@@lesscashmoremash The Southern Star is out of this world for a wheat bourbon. Definitely a "Weller Killer". They are out of NC. Not allocated, but a small distillery. The Rebel Small Batch just hit the shelves last month and I'm already on bottle #2!
