Since when - wing has anything to do with ... "technical" diving? Wing has a lot of to do with dry suit as there is less pressure on a diver (compared to BCD) and so with ... cold water diving. Wing while compared to BCD immediately constraints your agility and increases stability. But agility is a must-have for wreck diving!
I have a big dive bag that I carry all my gear in and my old bcd would fit in there with all the rest of my gear. However the Hollis will not so I carry it separately in the bag it came in. This has not caused me any problems because I have not had to fly to a dive destination as of yet, but I would not consider it a travel bcd, But personally I don't like the travel bcd's. With all the extra comfort and functionality of this bcd it's worth any extra hassle getting it to where I'm diving.
