This song is so nostalgic. It gives me the memory and the feeling of my vacation, when I laid under starry skies at a beach on a hammock, reflecting on the meaning of human life and our purpose, the fact that we are all destined to be here with the universe in our company. From what the universe sees, we are like the small creatures wandering on the surface of this one planet, out of so many, so many things that we aren't familiar to, so many phenomens, stars and wonders. Then it also brings back the memory of when I hit the road with some strangers along with my relatives and it felt like a genuine roadtrip. This song also played outside of a shopping mall I went to, when the sun started to set and there were palm trees along the sidewalks. It reminds me of other nostalgic moments, this song just gives me an amazing feeling of warmth and memory and somehow makes me feel like escaping into nature, the roots of our existence. It makes me feel like home.
I can hear the waves crashing up the shore, feel the sun on my body, sand beneath my toes when I listen to this song. The ocean is my favorite place to be. 💗
One day in the near future this song will be playing in my car...windows down...feet on the dashboard as I peer into the rear view mirror to be sure the u-haul is still with me.
I just discovered this song and I'm obsessed with it! I just started listening to Hollow Coves and they're a really good band! This song reminds me of my girlfriend. Right now I'm on the coast of BC where it's threatened with snow fall all the time. It's numbingly cold outside, and every morning that I walk to school all I can think of is my ray of sunshine in the dark storm. One of these days I'll go with her and run until I can't remember where I went.
